The two-toed people of Zimbabwe

Posted by CM on April 2, 2007

I stumbled across this account about a group of two-toed people in the Zambezi Valley of Zimbabwe. Their condition is said to result from a known genetic condition called ‘ectrodactyly,’ in which the middle three toes on each foot are missing.

I will not reproduce the whole article here…(full article)

One Response to “The two-toed people of Zimbabwe”

  1. This two-toed tribe was discovered by an old family friend called Peter Mackie who farmed in the Melfort are just outside Harare. I would be very interested as to how I can obtain this story to pass on to my Girls. Strangely enough we had scaned a photo of him being best man at my aunt’s wedding.
