We ordered a large order of carryout, and when we got home, we noticed that an item was missing. We called the restaurant and they said they would have it ready in 5 minutes. We were able to pick it up on time and they even threw in some extra naan. We really appreciate the way they corrected the problem and that it was done quickly. And the food was very very delicious!!

I brought my friend here to celebrate her birthday- I don't eat meat & Indian food usually has many veg options. We ordered;
Mango lassi 10/10
Saag paneer 8/10
Alo mattar 8/10
Naan 8/10
Lemon drop martini 7/10
The ambiance is cute, the staff was okay- only offering meat options when we asked for their suggestions. The food could stand to be more flavorfulHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mar 30, 2024
Service: 5 stars. The tandoori grill was unforgivable tho. Chicken was dry as the Saharan desert. It was so dry, it was hard to chew.
Both my friend and I got the tandoori grill. It came with naan and 4 tablespoons of mint chutney. The naan piece I ate was great. My friend said that his naan piece was dry and charred on the back. I told him that's how it is, you press it against the wall of the ove. He said "no, I got one piece that was good but the other I e was not." So he thinks consistency if the naan was subpar. But I was fine with naan.
Now the meat. The tandoori grill is $22. It is approximately 12 oz of meat. There's lamb sausage, chicken thigh, and a piece of other chicken that came from the breast. I could not eat this as it was too hard.
I asked for tamarind chutney. Extra $1. Chutney is a condiment so I feel like I was being charged for ketchup. Why?
I have been here another time years ago but this visit solidified that I really should never come back here. I crave Indian food even more after coming here which means the food really is disappointing to me.Helpful 3Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 0 - Shijia T.San Marino, CA0511Feb 22, 2024
we ordered the chicken curry lunch, chicken biryani lunch, and (forgot to take pic) samosas! with garlic and regular naan as well
i really liked their chicken biryani, the sauce tasted rly good. prices for portions were pretty good as well, tho i felt my naan was a little burnt than usual but still really good.
good family style restaurant and waiters were really nice! would come again :)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Julie V.Los Angeles, CA7527481793Apr 23, 20241 check-in
Did some shopping in Old Town Pasadena and had dinner at All India Cafe because I was craving Indian food. The ambiance is casual, but cozy. We got the dahi potato puri, chicken tikka masala thali, tandoori chicken, and mango lassi. The dahi puri was refreshing, as it's crispy on the outside and tangy from the yogurt inside. The chicken tikka masala's portion was pretty small for the price. It could use more flavor and spice. Sadly, the tandoori chicken was so dry and hard to chew. Would of been great if it was grilled better. The naan and mango lassi was good though! Service was okay. No one came by our table unless we flagged someone down for assistance. Decent India food, but my cravings were not satisfied.

I saw an Instagram post about Indian Cafe food. Here I'm lol.. The food was so good especially the Butternut Chicken... Look at the pictures.
The service was wonderful very attentive and I got free rice pudding for checking in at yelp. The server explained the food to us, very informative.
The Ambiance is nice, Indian music and cute decorations..
The restrooms are very clean. The bad part is that you need to pay for parking, but it's worth it.
Recommended it.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 133154359Jan 3, 2024
We walked in on a Tuesday for dinner; I'd say around 5ish and there was no wait we were seated right away. We were greeted within seconds. We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, Tandoori Chicken, Basmatti Rice, Mixed Vegetables and Garlic Nann- this was just enough for a couple- the perfect amount, since it was a family serving type menu.
The flavors and spices combined were AMAZING. I can appreciate when the cooks recreate the chefs exact recipes. The price was reasonable. The ambiance is casual and family friendly (kids too) customer service was flawless, attentive and friendly.
We will definitely be back for more!Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 2Oh no 1 - Mar 2, 2024
This place has a very small interior. It doesn't smell good inside, almost like it gets stuffy because there isn't good ventilation. Their outside dining area on the sidewalk also seems slightly intrusive and unfair to non-patrons, especially to pedestrians with accessibility needs who need to use the sidewalk. Other restaurants with outdoor dining in Pasadena, like the ones on Raymond, have a much better configuration with their outdoor dining on a designated part of the road instead of on the sidewalk itself.
