In her new show – complete sell out at the Edinburgh Fringe 2022 – she travels into the 60s and the Americanisation of French music: le yé-yé. A time of great cultural change in France, would the high art of chanson survive…?

    THE AZALEA WIND QUINTET

    The Azalea Wind Quintet features a mixture of postgraduate students and graduates from the Royal Northern College of Music. Members originally from the United Kingdom, Australia, Hong Kong and Portugal make up the eclectic ensemble and the group is aptly named as the ‘Azalea’ flower is one of the few flowers found to grow in each of the founding members’ birth countries.

    RAMSEY ROOM SESSION – THE STEVE & BEN SOMERS BAND

    Ben Somers came to take part in one of the Crossover Festivals at Clonter, returning to entertain a Ramsey Room Session audience pre-Covid. He will now return to treat you to an extraordinary musical journey as a now renowned father-son duo, Steve & Ben Somers!

Clonter is a place to escape the everyday and immerse yourself in the exciting world of live musical theatre. Set in the heart of the Cheshire countryside, you will discover our 400 seat indoor auditorium with an orchestra pit, an undercover restaurant and licensed bar with indoor picnic tables for those wishing to bring their own food. You are at liberty to picnic outside in the summer months, weather permitting.
