Found a wild rat needing help?

We are currently receiving many requests for help from people who have found wild baby rats.

The AusRFS Rescue Service only deals with domesticated (pet) rats.

However, we acknowledge that wild rats deserve to be treated with compassion and we have a procedure in place to help people who contact us for advice.

If you find a wild rat needing help, the best source of assistance is the Facebook Group Wildie SOS - Rats and Mice Australia. Please click HERE for more information.
