There is no room at the inn.
Apparently “International Protection Seekers” didn’t get the message and started camping out on the streets of Dublin.
After much [predictable] grumbling from residents and businesses in the area the Corpo finally moved in, ripped up the tents and bussed the unfortunates up into the Dublin Mountains.
They moved back again and pitched new tents.
The Corpo moved in, destroyed the tents again and shipped the occupants back up into the mountains. They then set up barricades to prevent any further would-be campers.
In the meantime, loads more “IPS” chappies arrived. They started pitching tents along the canal.
So the Corpo has now moved in, destroyed the tents and shipped the occupants off to God-knows-where. They are erecting barricades along the canal now. And the residents aren’t too happy about that either.
The gubmint of course haven’t a clue how to handle this situation. Simple Simon Harris is of course setting up meetings to discuss the situation [the only thing Harris ever does is set somewhere in the future]. He is muttering platitudes and soundbites, at which he excels.
The days of people saying that’s not my issue, that’s for that department, that’s for that agency, I don’t want to hear. This is Government. This is Ireland. This is Team Ireland.
Team Ireland? What the blind fuck kind of response is that? What does he think we are? Some kind of football team? Are we supposed to open our gardens so that immigrants can camp there and use our toilets? Does he think we all belong to the Farcebook/Twitter generation?
What a fucking moron.
