Three Decades of Experience

Based in Pontllanfraith, Caerphilly, The Dog Spa offers grooming, training, hydrotherapy and luxury boarding kennel facilities for dogs of all ages and breeds.

We offer clients the benefit of more than 30 years' dog care and training experience. Our lead groomer Mandy spent over 15 years working as a veterinary nurse. Therefore we are well placed to meet your dog's care, grooming and training requirements.

Friendly, Personal Service

At The Dog Spa, we pride ourselves on offering a friendly, personal service. If you are unsure which classes or treatments would most benefit your four-legged pal, simply ask and we will be happy to advise.

We are members of the Canine Hydrotherapy Association (CHA) and our trainers are approved by The Kennel Club, so you can rest assured that your dog will receive the highest level of care and service.

The Dog Spa also home to our beautiful Sofala Rhodesian ridgebacks.

Puppy Classes

The Dog Spa regularly hosts puppy classes, providing pups with a chance to play and socialise whilst bonding with their owners. The aim of the classes is to establish good behaviour patterns from an early age, helping to ensure your puppy grows up to be a happy, well-adjusted, loyal companion.

The Kennel Club Accredited puppy 8 week course for 2016 will commence Sunday March 6th. In the interim from January we will be holding puppy parties each Sunday afternoon.

Puppy parties start from the beginning of December to March 1st each year.
