Toggle Teddies is located on the edge of the beautiful Peak District in Derbyshire UK.
My name is Wendi Walker and I started making bears in 2004.
I design and make each bear using the highest quality materials, which include Schulte or Hembold mohair, English glass eyes, and cotter pin joints. I also use polyester filling and steel beads to give extra weight.
Most of my bears are accessorised or dressed and I design and make all the clothes myself. I enjoy exploring new techniques and creating new designs and I think the more vintage style I am creating now is my favourite of all so far.
My bears have been featured in several bear magazines over the years and I am very proud of the few awards I have.
