Bikes built from bamboo look to go commercial

It is one of the toughest mountain bike challenges in Europe; Trans-Alps - where competitors race more than four hundred miles and climb more than 21,000 metres.

Two engineering lecturers from Oxford have just finished it - using bikes made partly from bamboo.

They are now hoping their design can be produced commercially.
