Kent bikers complete Great Escape journey

Help

A team of seven motorcyclists from Kent have completed a 3,000-mile pilgrimage across Europe, following in the footsteps of the Great Escape in reverse.

They set off from Biggin Hill to tour some of the most important sites where allied servicemen were captured or imprisoned during World War II.

Two of the bikers, Peter Spowage and his son David, spoke to BBC South East Today presenter Rob Smith.
