Fouga CM.170 Magister 'Acrobatic Teams' The Fouga Magister was not only a great trainer jet, it was also an excellent aerobatic machine used by many aerobatic display teams. This release of the Magister covers the schemes of the Belgian Red Devils, French Patrouille de Ecolé de l Air and the FFS A Acro Team of Germany. All of these airframes wore quite strikng and colourful schemes indeed.
As well as serving with the French military the Magister was also an export success for Fouga which sold the type to a multitude of foreign operators and it was even built under licence in three countries. The first licence-built Magisters entered service with the air forces of Germany and Finland in 1958 where they also joined French-built Magisters and the third licence producer of the Magister was Israel, which produced its first aircraft in 1960. The Israeli Magisters were known locally as the Tzukit (or Thrush) and as well as basic training they were also used in the light-attack role where they proved successful during several of the Israeli-Arab conflicts. In the ground attack role the Magister could carry a pair of machine guns fitted in the nose section and various weaponry was mounted under the wings in the form of bombs and unguided rockets.
Within Europe the Magister was flown by France, Belgium, Austria and Ireland but there were also many other operators worldwide in Africa, Asia and South America, many of whom were no doubt attracted by its lightweight design and low operating costs. Among these far flung operators were countries such as Algeria, Bangladesh, Biafra, Brazil, El Salvador, Libya, Morocco, Togo and Uganda. Some Fougas are still flying these days, many of them in civilian hands.
The model comes on four grey styrene sprues with nicely detailed parts plus one with clear parts.

MAY RELEASE!!! Bergepanther with Pz.Kpfw.IV Turret "new parts new decal" Pz.Kpfw.V Panther tank is considered by many
specialists to be one of the best tanks of WWII. Its reliable armor and powerful firepower made this tank a formidable opponent on the battlefield. Various combat vehicles were produced based on its chassis, including the ARV Sd.Kfz. 179 Bergepanther. One of the unusual modifications of this vehicle was produced in the 653rd Heavy Panzerjäger Battalion (Schwere Panzerjäger-Abteilung 653). A turret from another tank, the Pz.Kpfw.IV, was installed on the chassis of the ARV, thus converting the Bergepanther into a command vehicle. According to some researchers, this turret was fixed, and instead of a gun, its dummy was installed, allowing the space inside the armored hull, free from the gun, to be used for additional radio stations and work with combat maps. It is likely that such a modification was made only on one copy. This vehicle was part of the combat strength of the Schwere Panzerjäger- Abteilung 653, and its use occurred in the spring of 1944 in the area of Ternopil, Ukraine.

MAY RELEASE!!! Tank Crew of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (100% new molds) Brave Ukraine Series 100% new moulds The Armed Forces of Ukraine boast a variety of tanks, both
domestic and Western-made. Despite the abundance of modern
anti-tank weapons, tanks remain a formidable force on the battlefield. They are utilized by the Ground and Air Assault Forces, the Marine Corps, and units of the National Guard. A tank crew must function as a cohesive unit, as the success of combat missions often depends on the teamwork and coordination of its members. Therefore, the crew must understand each other implicitly. Depending on the type of tank, the crew consists of either three or four tankmen – the tank commander, the driver-mechanic, the gunner-operator, and if necessary, the loader. During the repair of combat vehicles, crews from other tanks or repair unit personnel may be called upon for assistance. In heavy combat on various fronts, Ukrainian tankmen bravely fulfill their military duty, skillfully leveraging the combat qualities of tanks – armor, speed, firepower, and maneuverability.

MAY RELEASE!!! Bristol Beaufort Mk.I. Bombing raid with new parts The supply of Bristol Beaufort Mk.I torpedo bombers to the Coastal Command of the RAF began in November 1939. They were immediately utilized in combat operations during the early stages of World War II. In addition to their primary role of torpedo attacks against enemy warships and transports, the aircraft were also employed for bombing raids on land targets, such as the strike on Hamburg oil storage facilities in May 1940 or targets along the western coast of France. Standard armaments for such bombing raids included 250-pound and 500-pound high-explosive bombs. Until April 1941, the Bristol Beaufort remained the sole aircraft capable of carrying the entire range of British aviation ordnance. Following the fall of France, RAF combat aircraft continued to conduct bombing raids against Wehrmacht forces in occupied territory. Air attacks against ground targets - ports and airfields - were
carried out by units of Bristol Beaufort until 1942.

MAY RELEASE!!! US Aerial Target Drones 2 drones and 2 trailers. In 1948 the USAF (United States Air Force) signed a contract with the Ryan company to develop a jet- powered unmanned aircraft intended as a target for training purposes. The prototype drone, named XQ-2, made its first flight in 1951. Following successful testing, it entered service with the USAF as the Q-2A (also known as the Firebee). A slightly modified version, designated KDA-1, was operated by the military fleet. In the late 1950s, a new contract was awarded between the USAF and Ryan for a significantly improved "second-generation" Firebee - the Model 124, initially designated as the Q-2C. It went into production in 1960, and three years later, its designation was changed to BQM-34A. This drone featured an enlarged fuselage, longer wings, and a unique intake port under the pointed nose. The US Navy also adopted the BQM-34A, while the Army received a ground-launched version called the MQM-34D with a JATO (Jet-Assisted Take-Off) booster. These drones were used for training anti-
aircraft defense crews.

MAY RELEASE!!! Sikorsky CH-54A "Tarhe" with Universal Military Pod. Created in 1962, the heavy helicopter CH-54 Tarhe was primarily designed for transporting oversized military cargo. The powerful crane winches of the helicopter allowed it to lift loads in a hovering mode, without the need for landing. The helicopter was successfully used during combat operations in Vietnam, where it evacuated damaged aircraft and helicopters, transported artillery guns, vehicles, tanks, and even patrol boats on an external suspension. To expand the transport capabilities of the CH- 54, a special container was created - a kind of military pod for transporting infantry, wounded, or military equipment. The containers had windows, doors, and ramp in the stern section, which made it possible to transport military equipment inside if necessary, such as guns or light vehicles. Such versatile military pods could even be used for parachute deployment of soldiers. A total of 22 containers were built, each with its own military registration number.

Hawker Hurricane Mk IIb trop fighter-bomber aeroplane
Hawker Hurricane Mk IIb trop is an adaptation of the famous fighter-bomber aircraft designed to operate in difficult climates. Despite the name, "tropical" Hurricanes were used not only over jungles and deserts but also in the Soviet Arctic.
Popularly called the "Hurribomber", Hurricane Mk IIb is a development of the famous fighter designed by Sydney Camm, equipped with a more powerful Rolls-Royce Merlin XX engine with a two-stage supercharger and additional 4 machine guns in the wings (12 in total). This significantly improved the aircraft's performance, but the small-caliber armament was already insufficient at this stage of the war, so most Hurricanes of this version were used as bombing planes. In the USSR, they were further improved by installing larger caliber weapons.
Over time, it turned out that the plane loaded with additional weapons, despite a more powerful engine, no longer met the requirements for modern fighters. Together with the cannon-armed Hurricane Mk IIc, these aircraft were used to attack ground targets with gunfire and bombing. Thanks to installing a dust filter, the "trop" version was also created, intended for operations in difficult climates. Mk IIb and c aircraft equipped in this way took an effective part in combat in Africa, the Far East and the Soviet Arctic. A naval version with an arrester hook for landing on aircraft carriers was also created.

The General Dynamics EF-111 Raven was developed on the aerodynamic platform of the ground-attack aircraft F-111 Aardvark. The supersonic aircraft, featuring variable-geometry wings, was identified as a suitable platform to accommodate the electronic components necessary to effectively perform the new assigned tasks. The EF-111 Raven thus became a benchmark for Electronic Warfare missions, being employed in various operational activities in Libya, Bosnia, and Iraq. Easily recognizable by the prominent protrusion on the rear fin, it was equipped with state-of-the-art electronics for its time, including terrain-mapping radar and the adoption of radar jamming systems and electronic countermeasures. The cockpit was also redesigned with the installation of a control suite specifically configured for the Electronic Warfare Officer (EWO), the officer specializing in electronic warfare.

Bristol Bulldog Mk.II
New Tooling
(Due April 2024)
A gleaming silver steed flown by the most capable and intrepid young men Britain could call upon, the Bristol Bulldog was one of the most important British aircraft of the inter-war period, when powerful biplane fighters unquestionably ruled the skies. Initially developed as a private venture by the Bristol Aeroplane Company, the Bulldog was the brainchild of accomplished aircraft designer Frank Barnwell, the man behind the successful Bristol F2B Fighter of the Great War, and was a light, all-metal and fabric-covered fighter, powered by a 440hp Bristol Jupiter engine.
The Bulldog was armed with a pair of forward-firing Vickers 0.303" machine guns mounted on either side of the cockpit, but ultimately never fired its guns in anger during a relatively short seven-year period serving with Fighter Command. Although it was the most capable fighter of the day, the Bulldog was more closely associated with challenging formation flying and spectacular aerobatics, with the Royal Air Force thrilling huge crowds at airshows and pageants around the country, as they demonstrated the effectiveness of a modernising air force.
What the Bulldog did do was help advance Britain's aviation industry towards the production of the sleek, monoplane fighters which would contest the Second World War, as it highlighted the fact that biplane designs were fast approaching their zenith. Perhaps the most famous incident involving a Bristol Bulldog proved to be a rather unfortunate one, when an accomplished, but rather headstrong RAF pilot performed unauthorised low-altitude aerobatics for a group of onlookers and a private civilian aerodrome in Berkshire.
Flying so low that the wingtip of his fighter struck the ground during a manoeuvre, the Bulldog cartwheeled across the airfield, inflicting catastrophic injuries on the pilot - that pilot was future Second World War RAF ace and inspirational national hero Douglas Bader.

Messerschmitt Bf-109E-4 A Revolutionary Breakthrough in Warplane Design! Please see the pictures!
Dragon Models is proud to announce a revolutionary new project that’s 10 years in the making! The first item of Dragon’s new Wing Tech 2 series, the 1/48 Bf109E-4N boasts multiple engineering breakthroughs never seen before in Warplane model kits.
Developed over ten years using meticulous research and working together with the industry’s top plastic mould engineers to fine-tune our tooling technology, Dragon has achieved the first ever one-piece fuselage that will set the new standard in modelling! Prepare for a new age in Air Superiority!
Overview of the Kit sprues including the revolutionary one-piece fuselage and Dragon’s first ever offering with multi-colored parts.
One-Piece Fuselage
Traditionally, the fuselage is presented in two halves, which are glued together. Then, additional puttying and sanding are needed to eliminate the gap lines. However, this process can be time consuming and can produce negative results such as sanding off the details on the fuselage.
Dragon’s breakthrough engineering eliminates this problem by using multi-direction slide-moulds to produce the fuselage in one single piece.
Additional Key Features:
Complete Engine reproduced in accurate detail
Wings plug directly into the one-piece fuselage for better stability during assembly. State of the art engineering ensures quick and simple assembly without compromising the detail and quality of the model kit.
Wing joints are cleverly hidden beneath the curved leading edge of the upper wing to reduce the need for puttying and sanding. The result is a perfect-looking wing that can be built without additional time-consuming work.
Unrivalled detail on the engine and inside the cockpit. Also included are Dragon’s one-piece canopy
Our Wing Tech 2 series is a part of Dragon’s Engineering Revolution 2.0, in which our items are developed with the modellers in mind. For many years, Dragon has continually raised the bar in providing the highest detailed model kit products in the market. However, the higher level of detail comes at a cost, which is more parts, more assembly, and longer build times.
Keeping that in mind, our latest series utilizes the industry’s most sophisticated moulding techniques ever and simplifies the building process without compromising the details that Dragon is famous for. The result is a next generation model kit that has the highest level of details and accuracy, yet easier and less time consuming to build!
