The latest stunning piece of work by Bideford textile artist and knitter Alison Murray is entitled Above and Below the Waves and features an assortment of creatures and characters. It is at RHS Rosemoor from 21 July to 5 August 2010.
The woolly watery world has been created with the help of thousands of knitters from around the world.
The exhibit was unveiled at the 2010 Appledore Arts Festival in June.
Money raised by the exhibit will go towards the RNLI.
Alison also hopes the exhibition will encourage more people to take up knitting.
"It's important that young people get the idea that it's not just for grannies," said Alison. "It can be fun and exciting."
The community arts project has received funding from Arts Council England.
Gillian Taylor from the Arts Council said: "We've helped to fund this because Alison has taken knitting into a whole new area and she has been able to encourage thousands of people to take part."
Alison has made national headlines with previous projects - including a life-size knitted house.
All aspects of life above and below the waves are depicted - such as this seaside Punch and Judy Show.
During the exhibition at RHS Rosemoor in Torrington, a knitted garden is to be made with the help of visitors to special knitting workshops.
Alison (pictured) will be taking her woolly seascape on a tour of the world.
