As a vital resource to the Nottingham arts community, Surface runs successful, well received physical and online exhibitions, encompassing all forms of contemporary art. We are a not-for-profit social enterprise that exists to support early and mid-career artists, largely through professional exhibitions and events, and also residencies. Volunteer-run, co-operative and contemporary, Surface provides an affordable space for artists to exhibit their work.
