Led by internationally recognised experts, and with a thriving visiting speakers and guest practitioners component, our undergraduate and postgraduate degrees explore the history of filmmaking through the study of films from around the world, from the birth of cinema to the age of the Internet.

UCC Students Nominated for two Learning on Screen Awards

Students from UCC have been nominated for two Learning on Screen Awards. The Learning on Screen Awards have celebrated the use of film and media in education and research since 2005 and are awarded to students and industry professionals for projects ranging from non-professional work through to broadcast production.

Special Screening: The Festival of (In)appropriation #13 Film & Screen Media Auditorium, Kane B.10.B Wednesday 24th April 5pm-7pm

Founded in 2009, the Festival of (In)appropriation is a preeminent international showcase for experimental, found-media film and video. This year's programme will be presented in this exclusive screening hosted by the Department of Film & Screen Media.
