As efforts continue to reduce the number of violent incidents involving children, The Jamaica Teachers Association (JTA) is also advocating for measures that would consider the implications on educators. 

JTA President Leighton Johnson explained that the recent spate of violence among students has created

Over 30 motor vehicles which were stolen have been recovered in Spanish Town, St. Catherine, since lawmen in the area began using the Jamaica Eye closed circuit television (cctv) surveillance system.

The National Works Agency, (NWA), has deployed personnel to remove a downed tree which is blocking the Junction main road in St. Mary. 

The fallen tree was reportedly a result of a landslide this morning.

The most recent pollution incident happened a little over a week ago, resulting in some of the residents being even more frustrated about the situation.
