This panel is a timely discussion of the major themes and findings from two critically acclaimed books recently published by two prominent, Irish experts in the field of EU Studies. Firstly, Professor Brigid Laffan, the former Director of the Florence based European Institute (EUI) and Chancellor of the University of Limerick in Ireland, discusses her insightful co-authored book (with Steffan Talle) The EU’s Response to Brexit: United and Effective.

This event aims to enhance the teaching of EU law in Ukrainian law schools to support Ukraine's integration into the EU. It features two panels discussing experiences, challenges, and innovations in teaching EU law, with speakers from Ukrainian and UK universities. The event provides a platform for dialogue and international collaboration to improve EU law education in Ukraine.
