The APADRC offers a 40-hour Basic Mediation Training with an emphasis on building cross-cultural competency. Open to all members of the community, this highly interactive training introduces effective communication strategies, multicultural conflict resolution and peace theory, along with a full day of role plays with coaches from the APADRC – preparing you to be a neutral mediator in community conflicts.

Held over 7 days between May 18 – June 8, 2024

Enhance your practice or career – become a NJ court-qualified and/or private practice civil mediator. Mediation is rapidly becoming the preferred method for parties to resolve lawsuits and disputes. If you are an attorney, accountant, businessperson, law enforcement, education, mental health or other professional and want to become a qualified civil and commercial mediator and receive training from New Jersey’s premier association of professional mediators, you should take this course.

Time: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM each day
Dates: May 19 (in Person at Rutgers University), & 20 June 2, 3 and June 9 (in Person at Rutgers University), all days are Sundays and Mondays.
