Just a short while after we said goodbye to Ha Long and Thuong Long, two bears Animals Asia broke free from a tourist park in Vietnam, we have also lost our beautiful Tulip.
Animals Asia has rescued three adult moon bears from a notorious bear bile farming hotspot in northern Vietnam and brought them home to our new sanctuary in the beautiful Bach Ma National Park.
Today Animals Asia is rescuing a bear who has a different story to the hundreds of others who have suffered before them, and continue to suffer, on bile farms. This bear has a name.
One week after Buzz and Armstrong become the first bears to be rescued into our new sanctuary in Vietnam, Animals Asia rushes to rescue Apollo. With Apollo’s rescue, the province of Hai Duong is declared bear bile farm free.
