My boyfriend used Teleflora to get me flowers for Valentines day, it was going to be a surprise. They never came on Valentines Day- he secretly checked with the receptionist. He called Teleflora (which is also a shit company) to find out what florist Teleflora used, and why they hadn't been delivered. All he was told is that they would be delivered the DAY AFTER VALENTINES DAY!
He suspected I would think roses would be cliche so he ordered something asian-y... RED ROSES were delivered, all fucking bruised and broken, brown and sad-looking. Even IF he had ordered roses and they actually had came ON VALENTINES DAY, these flowers would not be acceptable. Maybe if he had got them from 7/11 on Valentines day, something that looked like this would be understandable.
I'm so pissed that they turned a gesture of love into a time consuming, black hole of anger and disappointment.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - ElleMarie H.Bremerton, WA014Feb 15, 2012
It is not possible to be more disappointed than this company has made me. Valentine's flowers delivered a day late. There are 15 and not 24. They are half dead. And they are the WRONG FLOWER!
How is it possible to screw up this much?
He paid dearly to have flowers delivered to my office next day delivery. He does this regularly. Other companies have always delivered beautiful bouquets in beautiful vases. This company is a day late, doesn't even apologize, sends dead flowers and doesn't even send the flower that was ordered. the vase is old and cracked. The water is brown and the card is a folded up 8.5 X 11 sheet that's covered in mudd.
You owe us a refund.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nina C.Mountain View, CA3991473173Feb 16, 2012
There's a reason this place has STRAIGHT one star ratings. This is easily the worst business/customer service experience I have ever encountered and judging by these reviews, it looks like I'm not the only one.
My boyfriend ordered me flowers for Valentine's Day. He ordered off some big website that distributes the orders to local florists. So... they never came on Valentines's Day. It was upsetting, but little did I know it was just the beginning.
So yesterday (the 15th), my boyfriend emailed them and heard nothing. They finally showed up at 5pm except check this out: they were the wrong flowers!! My boyfriend ordered multi-colored roses and instead, I got some small and low arrangements of carnations and other less-expensive flowers. Oh and a flower was broken! It fell off immediately. I explain this to the delivery person and say I'm not going to sign off on this without hearing that he will get a refund, so I call the florist immediately while the delivery lady waits.
As I wait, I open the note and there's a smaller note attached: it states that due to running out of the flowers we ordered, they have upgraded my order to roses. Uhhhh...so they put the wrong note inside. Thanks for taunting me further!
I call and the person on the other line nonchalantly takes down mine and my boyfriend's information. She says they will issue a refund after we speak to the "complaints manager!!!" No joke: they hire a COMPLAINTS MANAGER! Maybe they should put that money towards...everything else!
So afterward, I am teasing my boyfriend about how he didn't sign the card when he responds, "uh...I did..." Seriously?! You can't even print his note onto the card correctly!?
Even the delivery lady said she had been hearing similar reactions all day (she is not employed by them).
So let's see here:
Flowers are late, the wrong flowers, falling apart. Came with an upgrade note that was tucked into the wrong envelope and they couldn't even print my card out correctly.
They did NOTHING correctly. I agree with Katie B: they took a gesture of love and made it ugly. They caused my boyfriend and I a lot of stress and frustration.
Cascade Florists, if you think any of us are paying for this garbage, you have another thing coming. We better get our refund soon. I've never heard of a business fail on EVERY SINGLE ASPECT this badly! Do us all a favor: get out of the business of gifts of love, friendship and sympathy before you ruin another person's day!
-100 points
Update: Bf got a full refund and a gift certificate. I hope everyone else who had a bad experience on Vday will have a hassle-free return as well. We will see how his second experience goes.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jeff H.SeaTac, WA1371017Feb 20, 2012
This place is awful. I ordered flowers on Sunday, for my girlfriend on Valentine's day.
When Tuesday came along, I get a call from the delivery driver saying that he's running late because of the traffic and it would take 10-15 minutes to get there. Since it was only 4:45, I said that's plenty of time because she's off at 5:30. About another 20 minutes later, he texts me saying he's still going to be another 10-15 minutes, so I told him to at least try to get it there. Needless to say, he didn't make it. I told him if he could get the flowers there between 10-4 on Wednesday, then that would be okay.
So when Wednesday rolls around, I didn't hear from anybody at all, and at the end of the day, still no flowers.
Thursday at around 11am, the guy brings the flowers in and they're purple orchids (I ordered pink lillies)! On top of all of that, the driver was ridiculously rude, making snippy comments to my girlfriend and other people around her work.
Right after the flowers came in, I called up Cascade and wanted to submit a complaint. The person on the phone told me that the owner, Rose, handles all the complaints and she will call me within 48 hours. That was on Thursday and now it is Monday...
This company sucks at what they do and if I could give them a 0 out of 5, I totally would.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Yas L.Las Vegas, NV1311532Apr 7, 2012
I ordered from this company several times before the fateful day of Valentines 2012. The arrangements were always on time, long lasting and gorgeous! I was excited to see what they could come up with for Valentines.
I placed my order 10 days before Valentines day. On Valentines day, no show and no call. I called around 4 and got the explanation that they couldn't get to it but might have time to drop the flowers by our home after 6, nothing. I called again the next day and was told the flowers would be delivered that day. They showed up but it wasn't even close to what I ordered.
The next day I called the owner who was listed on their website. I got some long drawn explanation about how busy they were and blah blah blah. A simple I apologize and let me offer you a refund would have been great. She instead told me that the bouquet that was delivered was more expensive than the one I did order so I got lucky. I laughed and asked if I could just get a refund. She instead offered redelivery of what I actually did order. I told her that it would have to wait till Monday as my partner was away from the office for the remainder of the week.
Monday came and went.....guess what, no flowers. I called back Tuesday and was told they weren't doing deliveries Monday because it was a holiday. Strike 3.
Finally I just said, I need a refund. The young lady I was speaking with explained that the owner would have to process the refund and she would get back to me. 2 days and still no call. Finally I called back the following Thursday to see what was going on. I was told that my refund was processed the previous day.
This is simply a case of poor customer service. Had they been apologetic and just offered a refund initially things would have been better.
Long story short, DO NOT order on any major holiday. I am torn though for all other occasions as they do have gorgeous flowers.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - A C.Snoqualmie, WA059Feb 15, 2012
1 star only because zero isn't an option. Valentines day flowers delivered on the 15th. No call, and no email on the 14th to let me know they wouldn't arrive. No response to my complaint via email the morning of the 15th, yet flowers delivered later that day.
I wouldn't have done business with them had I checked Yelp first, don't make the same mistake.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Alyssa K.Alameda, CA2611Jun 14, 2014
Boyfriend ordered flowers to be delivered valentines day. Were not delivered until the 16th at 845pm. Arrived in a soaked box and obviously wilted. Would have been a beautiful arrangement if they were delivered on the day the arrangement was put together.

I ordered flowers to be delivered to my wife at work on Valentines Day... The flowers NEVER SHOWED UP! She never got any flowers on Valentines Day. They were not delivered until the next day. Are you kidding me??? This company is a joke. No call, no heads up, just decided not to deliver them. They showed up the next day. To make matters worse, my wife doesnt even work on Wednesday.

BEWARE! This florist delivered THE most pathetic looking floral arrangement to my home. The gift consisted of a handful of skinny, tiny tulips jammed into a seven inch glass vase... no embellishment, no box with green tissue... just handed off to me at the door with an envelope. There is always an element of trust at play when one orders flowers to be delivered to a friend or relative - since the gift giver never actually sees the arrangement. This was a prime example of a florist breaching that trust and taking advantage of the unsuspecting gift giver. In this instance, the sender would have been embarrassed by what arrived - but of course they will never know! I called my thoughtful relative and thanked them for the kind gift and I called the florist and discovered that this arrangement was priced at over $50! My advice, stay away from this establishment.

Horrible flowers...
... and what a laugh, their slogan is, "We have built an excellent reputation on beautiful flowers and prompt service. If we ever fail to meet your expectations, please let us know."
My Hubby had asked me late on Feb 14th if I received any special deliveries at work. I told him that I did not. He called FTD the same afternoon and got nowhere. Well, on the Feb 15th, I got a short bouquet of flowers that looked like it was meant for the hospital. I called the Seattle store to let them know that the bouquet of flowers that were supposed to arrive on Valentine's Day DID NOT ARRIVE ON TIME and that the FLOWERS HAD BROWN, WILTED EDGES. Cascade Florists told me that the driver was supposed to call my Hubby and let him know they were going to be late. I told them my Hubby never got a call. Well Cascade Florists took down my name and info and told me they would call me back by the end of the day.
While I was waiting for the call, I emailed my Hubby a picture of the bouquet. He told me that they were not even the same flowers he ordered. Feb 16th, still no call back from Cascade Florists, so I checked their website and found that I should contact Rose for these customer service issues. I called Rose and told her my story and that the bouquet of flowers that were sent to me were NOT DELIVERED ON TIME, were NOT THE SAME FLOWERS THAT WAS ORDERED and that the bouquet looked WILTED (w/ BROWN EDGES). Rose told me that I could either get the correct flower order next week (after she ordered more flowers) or my Hubby could get a refund. I told Rose to give my Hubby a refund.
On Feb 22nd, I get a call from Cascade Florists that they will refund my Hubby (which will show up in 7 to 10 business days) and that they will be sending me a replacement bouquet at no cost to my Hubby. The replacement flowers just got in - some of the FLOWERS STILL HAVE BROWN EDGES.
