Damp or locally wet for a time yet with scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle, clearing southeastwards. Good sunshine will soon follow into the afternoon, but with a scattering of showers too, mainly affecting Ulster, some of which will be heavy. Cooler and fresher than recent days with highs of 12 to 17 degrees, best values across the Southeast. Breezy at times too with westerly winds veering northwesterly.
Tonight
Tonight will be generally dry and clear. Some scattered showers too, mainly in the North and a few in the West too. An unseasonably chilly night with lowest temperatures of 2 to 7 degrees. Some rural grass frost locally with mostly light westerly breezes.
Tomorrow
Wednesday will be cool for early summer. Overall dry but with a scattering of showers occurring too, most frequent across the North and Northeast, some turning heavy with isolated hail showers. Some early sunny spells but clouding up at times too. Highest temperatures of just 11 to 15 degrees, in moderate, occasionally fresh westerly breezes.
