If you look at the media and the clever adverts that are made in-order to get people to purchase their goods, you could wonder if clever psychology is being used in-order to get you to buy their products.

Could it be a fact that the people who produce advertisement employ the best psychologist when making their adverts. And could they be using a drip,drip effect in-order to get you to make a purchase. This may be by the idea of keeping their products in your awareness, with clever jingles etc. Do they appeal to your emotions and use your emotional needs as a way to get you to make a purchase. If you look at why you may buy one item of sports wear compared to another. Did you see your favorite sports personality wearing that item of clothing. Or maybe they suggested that you would become cooler or you might be more attractive to other people. Do they show children’s products at times when your children will be watching the TV?

The Power of the Internet

Think about the last time you purchased goods or services on the internet. What were the things that caused you to buy the product or service? Were you educated about a problem that you had that you were not aware of, and did they educate you about the various solutions to the problem. May be they presented you with a solution that they could give to solve your problem.

And did they offer you a money back guarantee if their solution or product did not work? Was there a time limit, and they stated you had to buy today or you would have to pay a much higher price? Finally did they drop the price and offer you a number of bonuses to get you to enter your credit card details? Does this sound familiar could this be one of the methods that is used to get you to think that you need to purchase a product. Perhaps it was something that you did not think of purchasing until you read the long page of information.

Will Right Living Promote a Healthy Life

It has been suggested that righteousness can lead to the praise of a nation but sin or evil acts is a reproach to any people. Looking at that statement could suggest that righteousness is the opposite of sin. Could thinking in-pure thoughts on a regular basis do damage, and by the same token could thinking pure thoughts lead to a healthier life. Consider how you feel after you have experienced a time of anger, has the time of anger caused any damage to your body or mind? Can lustful thoughts over a prolonged period of time do damage to the mind? If we consider that when a person smokes cigarettes over a long period of time may lead to illness. So if a person has lustful thoughts over a long period of time, could harm or damage be done to the mind or to the body?

Effects of Stress

There have been research conducted regarding stress which have associated stress with illness, this could point to the idea that some illnesses may be in fact caused my stress. If this is true then if you had less stress could mean that you could reduce your chances of being ill. Also could stress be linked to the things that you are thinking about. For example there was a story about a man who used the money of the company that he worked for with out their permission. He lost the money and was in a hotel, he was heard to say the shame is going to kill me. If fact in 3 days the man was dead. Could the thoughts that you have affect your life?

If we say that thinking stressful thoughts on a regular basis could lead to illness. Then this could suggest that thinking less stressful thoughts could lead to better health. A question that could be asked is could corrupt thoughts lead to illness, and could pure wholesome thoughts improve the health? One writer suggested that it is good to have a time of laughter on a regular basis could help to keep the mind and body healthy. There was a story told by a lady who said that she recovered from cancer by watching funny films and she did not use any other therapy. Would it be useful to arrange your life in such a way so that you could avoid unnecessary worrying. For example instead of buying an expensive car that would mean you would have to work 20 hours a day to pay for it. A Time To Be

Life can be a rush to and from work, you may also be working towards getting qualifications in order to live the life of your dream. There could be a wide variety of reasons why you may want to achieve the things you desire in life; but do you have time just to “be”?

What could it mean to “be”, perhaps this could be time at the beginning of the day and at the end of the day when you have your personal space, may be a time when you can reflect on the direction that your life is taking. If we consider that people who tend to get to where they want in life could in fact know where they are going. Mr Hill in his book “Think and Grow Rich” spoke about “organised plans” as one of the things that can assist a person in finding success in life. So it could be important to plan time to allow you to reflect and work out the direction in your life.

A Balanced Life

It could be said that it is important to have good balance in life. If you consider the body, if the body works continually without rest, the body could end up becoming ill. So the fact that rest is needed is an essential part of life. If you consider machinery you would notice that if it is used continually without maintenance it could eventually become damaged. So even with your body you need to take time for maintenance. This could be time to eat well, rest, sleep and recreation just like a machine the body must be looked after.

Cause and effect

It has been noted by a number of thinkers that the things that you do in your life will have an effect on the things that happen in your life. The person who is healthy becomes healthy due to the habit of doing healthy things. For example the food you eat will have an effect on your body, and the way you think will allow you to take certain actions. So it is essential that you consider the things that you are doing as this will have an effect on the things that happen in your life. If you ever become ill it could be useful to ask yourself this question, what is my body trying to tell me? It may be that you need to change some of the things that you are doing in life. So look at what you are currently doing and consider that effect that those things may be having on your life.

Reflection

So could it be useful to spend some time during your day or week to reflect on how your life is going, time to think about ensuring that you are not doing things that could have a harmful effect on your life. It has been said that meditation is a useful way to focus the mind and to build concentration. It has been said by a number of writers that meditation is useful in achieving more from life.
