Welcome to Willow Fen Forest School! We provide forest school sessions in beautiful secluded Suffolk countryside in Thorndon, near Eye.
I am Gemma Snape and I am a fully qualified Level 3 Forest School Leader. I deliver Forest School sessions alongside Thorndon CEVC Primary School and sessions for Home Educating groups. I used to be a primary school teacher in Ipswich, before having my two boys who will probably join us for most of our sessions!

Forest School is a child-centred learning approach taking place in the woods, allowing children to play, explore and learn at their own pace and in their own ways. This is supported by trained practitioners to ensure the safety and wellbeing of those who attend.
During sessions, you are likely to find children climbing trees, creating concoctions in the mud kitchen, using a variety of tools, and learning how to make and cook on a fire.
