What’s In My Bag: Vacation Edition
I went on a short vacation right after Christmas last December with Gab and my family at Subic. I was on holiday break so I left behind anything school related at home and brought along my vacation essentials.
- A book - At the current time I was reading To Kill A Mockingbird. It’s a book I’ve read during grade school as a book report, but I hardly remember the story. I gave it another shot. It’s Gab’s favorite book. During that trip, Gab and I would read at the wee hours at night when the whole house would be dead quiet. It was the only time we could read properly, because any time from around 9 AM -11 PM, the whole house is wide awake.
- Fujifilm Instax Wide 210 - To capture moments. Instant film is the way to go.
- Extra instant film - Never left home without it. You’ll never know how long you’ll be out and how many memories you’ll want to capture. So in case you run out, you can always just pop this in!
- Wallet - I got mine from Accessorize. It has a blue and white polkadot design inside, which is why I bought it in the first place. It’s kind of bulky though… But hard to lose. Wallets are a necessity to bring around because it has my money, atm & credit card in there in case of emergencies (ie. seeing cute shoes I have to have, etc.)
- 3 pairs of sunglasses - I’m a sunglasses junkie. I have way too much. I bring a lot around, depending on which one would match whatever I’m wearing. The aviators usually end up with Gab, though.
- Cologne - It’s nice to smell nice throughout the day. This is cologne 9 year old cousin, Sofia, made for me. Sadly, it spilled all over my bag last week… The upside is that my bag smells really good and whatever I put in there ends up smelling good too. Haha
- Sephora nude lipstick - I don’t really bring around my make-up bag once I’ve done my make-up at home before leaving. The only thing I really touch-up on is some lip color. Which is still hardly ever.
- Earphones - To block out the world if we end up somewhere boring or if we end up on the beach. It also helps during long car rides and the rest of my family is sleeping in the car. Usually we’re pretty rowdy and noisy though.
- iPhone - I can never leave home without this, obviously. I use it to take photos mostly (instagram and other stuff)
*I got my rucksack from Aldo, if any of you are wondering!
That’s pretty much it! These are the usual things I leave with when we go around during family trips… This makes me wish for summer to come sooner. Two more months!
Some of my everyday essentials.

What's Inside My Makeup Bag!!!
Take a look inside my makeup bag :)
You can learn a lot about a photographer by their camera bag and what’s inside it.
And since we love getting to know photographers, we found seven of ‘em and asked to see what’s hidden away inside their cam bags. And they didn’t just tell us. They SHOWED us, too!
