Printronix overhauls partner programme

Print vendor targets line matrix and thermal barcode resellers with updated programme

Print vendor Printronix is offering its partners a new, updated channel programme.

The firm hopes that alongside the re-launch of the Path2Success programme, it will also increase the number of resellers for its line matrix and thermal barcode printing range, although it hasn’t put a figure on how many it would like to sign up.

Path2Success rewards partners through a rebate scheme, sales training, product discounts and marketing funds. According to Olivier Evain, EMEA regional category manager for Printronix, the vendor wants to “create a prosperous environment for our resellers in EMEA”.

He says: “We will harmonise and organise our channel and give more visibility to key partners that demonstrate high-levels of professional investment. As well as entrenching our success in the developed markets, we believe the revamped partner programme will be vital in helping us grow into key emerging markets.”

Path2Success partners can obtain three levels of accreditation: Silver, Gold and Platinum, and rewards are defined by the revenue generated by partners as well as the level of professional investment made by the reseller – for example by how many sales and service engineers they train in Printronix products.

Platinum and Gold partners will receive access to MDF as well as literature and marketing tools through an online portal, enabling them to create their own marketing campaigns.

The new programme seeks to reward partners in two key strategic product areas: line matrix and thermal barcode printing. Printronix and its sister brand TallyGenicom claim a 100 percent of the line matrix market, while it has around 20 percent of the ‘industrial print’ market, with its thermal machines.

school desks, too exciting for words

There might be chances that you had lots of experience with desks during your life. You might have strong opinion about these desks as well as I do. My experience is pretty much with desks up until now similar which can be expected in rural America. I used these desks at my school, then in different jobs, and I also had furniture store where old desks were sold. Lots of different desks have been used and seen by me.

The school desks can be described as little trap stations for starters and I can’t stand with these desks. There is very little room in these desks for the children to open their binder on and they even can not lay their books on them. I never had large metal desk because these desks are very heavy. The particle board desks can not be hold up nicely during moisture and rougher use. I could not afford big and nice roll top oak desk although I needed it. There are standup desks as well and you might have heard about these desks. I was attracted to the idea when I heard about these desks for the first time but I was unsure about these desks that whether I would have this desk or not.

It is observed that people have not been taking these desks for sitting down anymore. The desks used for standing are commonly seen in schools and other workplaces in America and other countries of the world. It is important for you to know about these standup desks. The designs of these desks are different but these desks can be adjusted easily in your work surface so that you can be able to stand behind the desk. The stool can also be used to sit against these desks from time to time but most of the people prefer to use chair especially after some adjustment period.

It is very good to use the school desk in this way because you can reduce childhood obesity in children and some kids can be stopped from jiggling so much. These desks can also help you to reduce the feeling of fish in a fish bowl in some children and it is very interesting.

One teacher in small school in Minnesota quit the class by telling them to sit down and stand through the class to be quiet. This lead of the teacher is being followed by teachers in 18 other states according to recent report of ABC news.

The class is started by her with standing for Pledge of Allegiance and this class remains standing for instruction. It was found by the teacher that students can study effectively if they remain stand and move around a bit. There was difficulty for her to find standup desks. The idea of teacher was taken to local furniture maker with the help of local donations and grants. Some standup desks were made by the furniture make for her class and these were liked by the kids.
