  • (Dec 31, Daily Mirror)-- Fulham are looking to take midfielder Derek Boateng on loan from Dnipro with a view to a permanent move.

  • Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong will join struggling Wolverhampton Wanderers on loan until the end of the season, the London club said on Saturday. Frimpong sustained a serious knee injury at the start of last season but the 19-year-old has battled back into contention at the Emirates, making 14 appearances for Arsene Wenger's team this campaign.

  • (Dec 30, skysports.com) -- Bolton Wanderers are amongst a host of clubs keeping tabs on Ghana starlet Emmanuel Awuah Baffour. The 21-year-old currently plays for New Edubiase United, where he has found the back of the net on a regular basis.
    Indeed the young striker is the only outfield player named in Ghana's squad for the African Cup of Nations who is not playing abroad.
    Egyptian side Al Masry are understood to be keen on landing him, however, a number of European clubs are now showing an interest. He is understood to have caught the eye of Bolton scouts, whilst German side Freiburg are also believed to have been impressed with his recent displays.

  • Medeama SC teenager Jacob Appau is expected to undergo trial with Turkish giants Trabzonspor, reports in the local media claimed on Friday. The 18-year-old offensive midfielder has been impressive for the Yellow and Mauves in the early stages of the Ghana Premier League.
    Appau has scored two goals for the Tarkwa-based side who lie in 8th place on the league table after 12 rounds of matches. He is a member of the Ghana Under-20 team and was part of the team which toured Italy last month.

  • Torric Jebrin moves from Bucaspor(Turkey,2) to Tranbzonspor(Turkey,1) on a free transfer. His contract is valid for 5 years and he is already in training camp with the team

  • According to several reports in the Italian media, German champions, Borussia Dortmund, are monitoring Sulley Muntari. He can leave Inter on a free transfer at the end of the season

  • Mohammed Abu's loan move to German side, Eintracht Frankfurt, is finalized. It is a 6 month loan deal with option to extend it for a further 12 months. He will join the team after the Nations Cup

  • (Mirror, UK) Queens Park Rangers boss Neil Warnock is keen on bringing in Ghana keeper Adam Kwarasey. Kwarasey, 24, is currently at Norwegian club Stromsgodset but is ready to move after catching the eye in recent times. Sunderland, Blackburn, Arsenal and Celtic are watching developments.

  • Sunderland manager Martin O'Neill says he plans to contact Asamoah Gyan next week. The Black Cats loaned the Ghana striker to Al-Ain in a deal worth around £6m.

  • Steve Kean has played down reports that Stephen Appiah is heading to Blackburn Rovers. The Ewood Park manager revealed last week that he wants more experience amongst his options, as he looks to avoid relegation to the Championship. It was heavily reported that Rovers were taking a close look at Ghanaian ace Appiah, who is a free agent having left Italian side Cesena at the end of last season. However, speaking to the Lancashire Telegraph, under-fire Scottish tactician Kean said of the 31-year-old midfielder: “I did not see him here.”

  • Fulham are believed to be leading the chase for Bristol City winger Albert Adomah. The City's player of the year last season, signed a three-year contract extension in the summer. Aston Villa, Everton, Bolton, Sunderland and Stoke are also interested.

    • Chelsea are thought to be interested in signing Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong as they continue to identify potential transfer targets.

    • Sam Yeboah has signed for Faroe Islands club Sam Ayew Yeboah has joined newly promoted Faroe Islands side Tvoryrar Boltfelag. The 23-year-old has penned a two year deal with the club for an undisclosed fee. The ex-Liberty Professionals offensive midfielder was spotted by a scout of the ambitious Faroe Island side while on trials at Danish side Thisted FC.

    • (GHANAsoccernet.com ) -- Arsenal and Liverpool are bracing up for a January swoop for Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was impressed with the former Berekum Arsenal midfielder's work rate when they clashed in the Uefa Champions League and has followed the exploits of the 21-year-old in the Serie A.
      Liverpool scouts have also followed him closely and have told Kenny Dalglish Badu has the quality to bind his midfield together.
      Udinese could however reject the build both bids if they do not come with a commensurate offers. Despite his performances for his country, Udinese has not been used as a regular player for the club which has sparked interest in prising him away

    • Galatasaray have started fresh attempts to sign Sulley Muntari in their bid to sign the Ghana midfielder when the transfer window opens in January. The Turkish side can grab the Ghana international for a reduced price from Inter Milan who could lose the player in June.
      Muntari’s contract with the Italian side expires at the end of the season and they must cash in to avoid letting him player leave for free in June.
      The Istanbul giants were keen on signing the enforcer before the transfer window shuts in August but Inter’s valuation for the player was not encouraging. Now Galatasaray coach Fatih Terim has admitted interest in Inter Milan midfielder.
      “Muntari? He’s an excellent player…” said Terim.
      The 27-year-old Muntari is expected to be sold after Christmas if they agree on a price.

    • Ghana youngster Rashid is on trial for one week with French second division side RC Lens. Before RC Lens Rashid made some trials with the Italian top flight Parma. He has played for Ghana premier league side Ebusua Dwarfs.

    • Ghana's Olympic team goalkeeper Daniel Adjei is in France for trials with RC Lens, SuperSport.com understands. The player joined the French second-division side a few days ago.

    • Former Ghana Olympic captain Yussif Chibsah has joined Swedish giants Djurgarden on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee. The 27-year old penned the deal last Tuesday after impressive performances for IF Gefle, in the Swedish top flight. Chibsah has carved a niche for himself as one of the best midfielder in the ‘Allvenskan’ since joining Gefle in 2007. The experienced midfielder will debut for his new club when the next Swedish season opens.

      The ex-Kotoko player captained the Black Meteors at the Athens 2004 Olympic Games. He also played for Israeli side Hapoel Nazareth since leaving Ghana in 2007.

    • Oct 15 --The agent of Sulley Muntari says that the Ghana international is interested in a move to Napoli.

    • Oct 13 -- Sulley Muntari has been linked with Queens Park Rangers Football Club. The 27-year-old has experience of life in the Premier League, having previously played for Portsmouth and, last season, on loan with Sunderland. Muntari is now back in Italy with Inter, but with his contract set to expire at the end of the season, he could be available for a cut-price fee in January.     • (ghanasoccernet)- Ex Ghana captain Stephen Appiah is on the verge of joining Ukrainian club FC Volyn Lutsk. The 32-year-old has been without a club since parting ways with Italian outfit Cesena at the end of the last Serie-A campaign.
      Appiah is in the Ukrainian city of Lutsk to negotiate a reported three-year deal with the Crusaders who are now placed 12th on the Premier League standings.

    • Belgian second-tier side Sporting de Charleroi have secured the services of Tudu Mighty Jets captain Richard Ofori on a one-year loan deal for an undisclosed. The 19-year-old left-back left to Belgian last week and impressed Charleroi’s technical team after he was assessed. The Ghana youth international sealed the deal on Wednesday’s transfer deadline. Ofori was a member of the 2011 Ghana Under-20 team but was dropped before the African Youth Championship in South Africa early this year.

    • David Addy has joined Greek side Panetolikos FC on loan until the end of the season. The Ghanaian defender completed the move on Wednesday's transfer deadline day from Portuguese side, FC Porto.Addy, 21, is contracted to Porto until the 2013 season but has found first team opportunities hard to come by under Victor Pereira since returning to the champions from Académica de Coimbra on loan.

    • Ghana youth star, Quincy Osei has joined Serbian elite division side Hajduk Kula on a three year as a free agent.
      The 21-year old midfielder sealed the move on Thursday after passing a medical with the Kula-based club. The player is said to have earned the attention of Hajduk Kula coach Nebojsa Vignjevic during his month-long trial. Osei recently saw out a two-year stint with Haka FC of Finland, where he carved a niche for himself as one of the best performers at the club. The midfielder was a member of the Black Meteors squad defeated by Sudan in the qualifying rounds for the London 2012 Olympic Games. He is the only African player in the set-up of Hajduk Kula, one of the oldest clubs in Serbia.

    • Newcastle United are interested in Inter Milan midfielder Sulley Muntari. Muntari spent the second-half of last season on-loan at Sunderland and has been made available by Inter this summer. Despite flirting with clubs from Spain and Turkey, Muntari favours a return to England. And Ghana media sources say Newcastle boss Alan Pardew is keen to sign the midfielder before next week's transfer deadline falls.

      QPR have also been mooted as having an interest but that may depend on their new investment going through.

    • Marseille coach Didier Deschamps says there has been no approach from Arsenal regarding Ghana international Andre Ayew after rejecting the Gunners' bid to take Lucho Gonzalez on loan.

    • Junior Agogo agreed a one-year deal with Scottish side Hibernian following a trial to be reunited with Calderwood, his manager at Nottingham Forest from 2006 to 2008.

    • Lloyd Owusu joined Cypriot second division side AEP Paphos on a one year contract.

    • Leicester City have completed the signing of former Fulham right-back John Pantsil on a free transfer after agreeing a three year deal.

    • French side Nice have released Jonathan Quartey. The 23-year-old defender was axed after failing to impress in two seasons. Quartey, who played for South African side Kaizer Chiefs, was loaned to Turkish second division side Samsunspor last season. But he also failed to hold down a first team place in Turkey which prompted Nice to release the towering defender.

    • AS Monaco wanted to sign Bernard Yao Kumordzi on loan for 135,000 Euros, but Panionios rejected that offer. A Greek manager said: "As long as I am at this club, I won't sell BYK. Unless there is a consquent offer." The player wishes to quit Greece and is apparently disappointed with the behavior of the Greek directors.

    • Ahmed Apimah Barusso is expected to terminate his contract with AS Roma. Serie B side, Varese, are in talks with him.

Owusu has already had loan stints with Gil Vicente and Cercle Bruge in the last two seasons.

    • (MTNFootball) -- Abeiku Quansah has signed a three-year deal for Ukrainian club Arsenal Kyiv. The midfielder joins as a free agent following the expiration of his four-year contract at French Ligue 1 side Nice where he managed only eight first team appearances. The club have sent a work permit application for the 20-year-old who has impressed the side since joining them three weeks ago. Quansah was part of the Ghana squad which won the 2009 FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Egypt.

    • Haminu Dramani has joined French second division side Arles Avignon, This comes after the 25-year-old snubbed a move to top-flight club Lorient who were on the verge of signing him.

    • The Advertisr reports that IBRAHIM ATIKU has signed a two year deal with Swindon Town. The 28 year old attacking midfielder started his career in his Ghana with Liberty Professionals (where he spent some time on loan in Israel). He later moved to Sweden and played for Västerås, Friska Viljor, Assyriska Föreningen, Sylvia (loan) and Vasalund (Atiku obtained Swedish citizenship in 2005). Most recently he was with Greek outfit Ethnikos Piraeus but during his career Atiku has had trials with Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund (as a teenager) and Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

    • Jordan Ayew, the younger son of legend Ghanaian footballer Abedi Ayew Pele has extended his contract with Olympique Marseille for 3 years.

    • Prince Buabeng has reportedly been handed an offer from Turkish side, Denizlispor. Buaben who is currently a free player after completing his four-year deal with Scottish side Dundee United could yet move to his preferred England if a deal comes along. He featured in no less than 35 SPL games for United last season scoring twice for the Tannadice outfit and won the Scottish Cup in United’s centenary year in the 2009/2010 season.

    • (MTNFootball.com) -- Turkish top flight side Kayserispor have agreed a six-month loan deal to sign defender Seth Konadu from CS Sfaxien

    • Udinese have entered the race to re-sign Sunderland striker Asamoah Gyan. The Italian club, who qualified for this year's Champions League, are looking to invest the £35million from the imminent sale of Chile international Alexis Sanchez. And Gyan, who had five years with Udinese at the start of his career, has emerged as their number one target although they face competition from Tottenham, Real Madrid, Fiorentina and Zenit St Peterburg.

    • According to ‚Hürriyet‘, Bursaspor - Turkish Champions in 2009-10 season and 3rd last season - is ready to pay 3 million Euros for Anthony Annan, who has a contract with Schalke til 2014. Schalke paid 2.5m to Rosenborg.

    • Abeiku Quansah's 2 yr contract with Nice expires at the end of this month. It won't be renewed.

    • Swindon have confirmed that Ibrahim Atiku has linked up with the club and will travel to Italy for pre-season training.

    • Berekum Chelsea striker Emmanuel Clottey has joined Polish giants Legia Warsaw on trial in an attempt to seal a permanent move, the club have confirmed.

    • According to Samuel Inkoom, multiple English clubs are interested in arranging a transfer for him, with Tottenham Hotspur being one of them. The other team mentioned in the Sky Sports post are West Ham United, who, of course, have just been relegated

    • Spartak Moscow (Russia) and Bursaspor(Turkey) are interested in Anthony Annan

    • Youth striker Ransford Osei will sign for Hungarian champions FC Fehervar Videoton next week. The 21-year-old striker has arrived in Szekesfehervar and is assessing the possibilities of signing a three-year deal with the Uefa Champions League campaigners. Osei who has had loan stints with FC Twente and Granada FC is now a free agent after his contract with Israeli side Maccabi Haifa expired last season.

    • Michael Essien and Didier Drogba are among the five Chelsea targets drawn up by AC Milan to sign this summer. According to the report by UK radio station Talk Sport, the Chelsea stars dominate an eight-strong list of targets drawn up by AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani.

    • Inter Milan are monitoring Michael Essien's situation at Chelsea. Corriere dello Sport says Essien is a big favourite of Inter president Massimo Moratti, who would love to bring the Ghana star to Italy this summer.
      With Andre Villas-Boas set to be confirmed as new Chelsea manager, Moratti is waiting to see if the Portuguese plans to stick with Essien for the coming season.
      If given any encouragement, Moratti will make a move for the midfielder.
      Interestingly, former Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink, also a fan of Essien, is in the frame for the coaching job at Inter.

    • Abraham Annan(Hearts of Oak) was on trials at Norwergian sides Lyn & Stabaek, but failed to bag a contract.

    • June 17 -- Medeama SC striker Kabiru Moro and Heart of Lions defender Godfred Asiamah Rockson have signed for relegated Turkish side Bucaspor. Moro, 21, is joining the Izmir-based side on a six month loan spell while defender Rockson has signed a two-year deal with the club. The pair left Accra on Friday night and will join former Hearts of Oak wunderkind Torric Jibril at the club.

    • Hearts of Oak exciting midfielder Obed Ansah will join South Africa Premier Soccer League side Bloemfontein Celtic on trial.

    • Ishmael Yartey has joined newly-promoted Swiss top-flight club Servette. The 21-year-old moves from Portuguese giants Benfica on loan for one season.

    • Promoted French Ligue 1 side Evian Thonon-Gaillard have expressed interest in signing Ghana winger Opoku Agyemang. The 21-year-old, who plays for Qatari side Al Sadd, has resolved to move out of the Middle East. Evian Thonon-Gaillard have also approached Udinese in an attempt to secure Ghana youth midfielder Rabiu Mohammed on a permanent basis.

    • Italian Serie A side Genoa have loaned Yiadom Boakye and I Coffie to Serie B Sassuolo

    • PRINCE Buaben is set to move to Birmingham City. The Ghana internationalist left Tannadice under freedom of contract at the end of last season and has been linked with moves to Swansea and Brighton. But it is understood that Birmingham have jumped to the head of the queue, even though they are without a manager following Alex McLeish's controversial move to city rivals Aston Villa. Despite McLeish's departure, acting chairman Peter Pannu made it clear the Championship club would be continuing to pursue the transfer targets they had identified.

    • Daniel Opare has set his sights on playing in England after being linked with a move to Premier League side Sunderland.

    • Haminu Dramani has been linked with a move to French top-flight side Lorient as his contract in Russia will expire this month. The winger opted not to extend his contract with Lokomotiv Moscow as his contract runs out at the end of June.

    • June 14 (Daily Mirror) -- Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is ready to sell star striker Asamoah Gyan - after the hit man's name was circulated to clubs yesterday. The striker could be sold in the summer to raise money for more new players. Gyan's availability was flashed to leading Premier League clubs - and outfits abroad - as the surprise player in a list of 'for sale' talent sent out by an agent close to the club.

    • In another development, Chelsea are ready to sell Michael Essien in order to fund a move for Tottenham ace Luka Modric, according to reports in the English media.
      Essien struggled to rediscover his form last term after a disappointing season blighted with injuries and poor performances. The 28-year old has been linked with a reunion with former boss Jose Mourinho who is looking to bring the £18million rated midfielder to the Bernabeu this summer reports the Daily Express. The Ghanaian may also be used as a makeweight with Chelsea perusing Inter Milan’s Wesley Sneijder. Sneijder is target for both Chelsea and Manchester United but will cost any suitor a cool £35million.

    • Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has stepped up his interest in signing Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien to replace French Lassana Diarra who is eager to leave the Royal club next season, according to Spanish newspaper Marca. “Essien can cover the entire width of the field and some more than good technical conditions.” the Spanish newspaper described the Ghanaian stopper. Marca also revealed that Essien's problem is his price about 40 million Euros so Real Madrid will splash the cash for the Ghanaian’s services.

    • (Ghanasoccernet)June 11 -- Derek Boateng is on the verge of sealing a massive deal to Ukrainian side Dnipro. A US$8.5 transfer fee has been agreed. The 28-year-old, who plays for Spanish side Getafe, will have to agree his personal terms before the deal is signed for him to join his compatriot Samuel Inkoom who has been instrumental in the deal. But Dnipro’s offer will double his salary which makes it likely that he will accept the offer.
      Getafe have already agreed to accept the US$8.5 tabled by Dnipro and the deal is expected to be finalised by early next week.
      The midfielder has a contract with Getafe until 2013 and a buyout clause of 15 million euros. Turkish side Trabzonspor and Aston Villa were the other two teams interested in Ghanaian

    • According to reports Chelsea are planning to offer Inter Milan players in a bid to land Wesley Sneijder. Corriere dello Sport claims the Blues have been in touch with the Italian club about a possible deal for the Holland international. Chelsea have made the late bid in an attempt to scupper the plans of Premier League rivals Manchester United who appear to be heading the queue. It is understood the Stamford Bridge hierarchy are prepared to offer Florent Malouda and Michael Essien. Prospective Chelsea coach Gus Hiddink is believed to have urged Chelsea to sign the Dutch maestro.

    • Leicester City are pursuing John Pantsil. The Mercury understands City have made an enquiry for the 29-year-old right-back, who is out of contract at Premier League Fulham this summer and has not been offered a new deal. However, the player's wage demands may be a stumbling block as it is believed he has asked for as much as £25,000 per week to drop into the Championship, a figure City have balked at. Pantsil may have to lower his demands if he wants to join Sven-Goran Eriksson's promotion chasers next season.
