Lougheed House was built in 1891 and is a National and Provincial Historic Site. Located in Calgary’s greater downtown amid acres of heritage gardens and green space, Lougheed House is an accredited museum, significant Calgary landmark, and vibrant community gathering space. It features temporary and permanent exhibits, hosts events, tours, and learning opportunities for visitors of all ages, as well as a gift shop and private event space.

Trivia Night - Witches and Wizards

Our trivia maven is back in action with this month's trivia night, which is Witches and Wizards-themed! Join us on Thursday, May 30th from 7:00-8:30 pm. The winning team will receive a gift card to Last Best Brewing. Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase from the Lougheed House bar.

Preserving Your Heritage Home

Do you own a heritage home? Are you interested in how heritage preservation works? Join Lougheed House and Heritage Calgary in a free talk that explores heritage conservation practices and provides some tips and advice for your home restoration projects. Conservation architect Mark Chambers and Edwin McGowan, the owner of the Lawless Residence in Inglewood, will share their knowledge and hands-on experience in the conservation of historic buildings.

Volunteer at Cowboys Casino with us!

August 12 & 13

The Lougheed House Conservation Society is recruiting volunteers for an upcoming Casino fundraiser on August 12 and 13 at Cowboys Casino. Volunteer with a friend and have a great day or night supporting the Beltline's favourite historic house, museum, and gardens! Casino fundraisers enable us to continue delivering engaging exhibits and programming to our community like trivia nights and events in the gardens.

No previous experience is necessary. Free underground parking, a meal, and refreshments are provided for volunteers during their shift.
