Two Muskegon Lumberjacks finish atop scoring leaders for USA Hockey Camp; four among top 25

Four Muskegon Lumberjacks finished among the top 25 scorers in this week's USA Hockey Player Development Camp in Rochester, N.Y.

Jordan Masters (Kelly Green) and Michael McNicholas (Royal) finished with 11 points each in the five-game tournament. Masters led the tournament with nine goals. McNicholas had three goals and eight assists.

Two other Lumberjacks finishing among the scoring leaders were Joseph Cox (Royal) with four goals and two assists for six points and Joshua Henke (Grey) with two goals and four assists.

Each summer, USA Hockey conducts the select camps for young hockey players from across the country. They are chosen through district tryouts.

The purpose of the camps is to train, educate and evaluate the best players in their respective age groups.
