KIERAN GILL AT STAMFORD BRIDGE: Ange Postecoglou (pictured top) could not contain his rage as he watched Tottenham crumble at Chelsea, admitting afterwards that they have bigger problems than being vulnerable from set-pieces. Postecoglou questioned the mindset of his players after a pitiful performance at Stamford Bridge with the Spurs boss as angry as we have seen him on the touchline. The Welsh outfit sealed a return to League One for the first time in 19 years after finishing second in the fourth tier of English football, earning 88 points following 26 wins, ten draws and ten losses. That total wasn't enough to win the League Two title, as Stockport held them off to become champions of the division, but Wrexham won't care one bit as they continue their incredible rise up the Football League.

Mauricio Pochettino admits he 'needs to have time' to turn things around at Chelsea... as

Mauricio Pochettino suggested he would need more time to make Chelsea a consistent force in the Premier League after a 2-0 win over Tottenham, but realises remaining at the club is 'not my decision'. After a run of disappointing results - including an FA Cup semi-final defeat to Manchester City, a 5-0 thrashing by Arsenal and a draw at Aston Villa - the Blues were back to winning ways courtesy of headers from Trevoh Chalobah and Nicolas Jackson to go eighth in the table. And the manager used the safety net of three points against his former club to make what could be viewed as an appeal to the club's decision makers to show renewed faith.

TIM HOWARD: A Premier League game in the USA is inevitable. It could be here within five

TIM HOWARD: English soccer fans are slow to come around to certain ideas because the tradition of their clubs and the tradition of their game is so important to them. I feel that. I lived it. There was opposition towards the introduction of VAR and there is opposition to the prospect of the Premier League coming to the United States. I know from my time in England that some people won't ever support that. But it is inevitable: we are going to see a Premier League game in America. I have always felt that. It could happen in the next five years. And my message to English fans? It's a good thing. It will only help the Premier League grow. It will help ensure the Premier League remains the best league in the world.

Graeme Souness believes that Mohamed Salah is one of the 'most selfish players' he has ever watched and has claimed that the Egyptian forward 'is leaving Liverpool' amid speculation he could be on his way out of Anfield. Doubts have been raised this week over whether Salah will stay at the Merseyside club past this summer, after the 31-year-old was embroiled in a touchline row with Jurgen Klopp during the Reds 2-2 draw away to West Ham on Saturday.  The outgoing manager had opted to rest Salah from the starting line up for that match - with Liverpool's attackers having struggled in front of goal during the Reds' title run-in. The 31-year-old forward, whose contract will expire in 2025, was seen speaking furiously with Klopp on the sideline before the Egyptian fanned the flames after the match, telling journalists: 'If I speak, there would be fire if'.

All Howard Webb's shiny TV show does is pander to the mob and fuel the conspiracy

IAN LADYMAN: Howard Webb (pictured top left) wants to help but the truth is he is not helping. The head of the refereeing body wants to introduce openness and transparency and dialogue into the relationship between match officials, football clubs and the public. His motives are honourable but standing in front of television cameras and talking about mistakes made by those he is paid to represent is the wrong move driven by the best intentions.

So just how much can Sir Jim Ratcliffe flog his Man United flops for? Full value of Red

Manchester United's squad value has been revealed, according to reports, amid speculation Sir Jim Ratcliffe is preparing a first team fire sale this summer.  The Red Devils have suffered a rocky season under Erik ten Hag, with the team currently in sixth place and 13 points off fourth-placed Aston Villa, with a 1-1 draw at home to Burnley only adding pressure on the Dutch boss. United have also looked shaky during other poor results in the last month, including a 4-3 loss to Chelsea, a 2-2 draw to Bournemouth and a nervy penalty shootout win over Championship side Coventry in the FA Cup semi-finals - having surrended a 3-0 lead to draw 3-3 at Wembley.

That's plastic in there, and that, and that's been frozen,' explains the 76-year-old former Manchester United, Arsenal and Aston Villa goalkeeper. 'At least I'm still alive,' he laughs. 'They only gave me two days to live, you know.' This seems like a good place to start. Rimmer was living in Vancouver when he suffered a heart attack, collapsing as he climbed out of his Jeep on a routine trip to the bank.

How Cole Palmer is similar to the late, great George Best... and here's why the Chelsea

IAN HERBERT: Sometimes, amid the waves of data and analysis which seem to drown contemporary football, you wonder whether there is still space for the genuinely unexpected. The player who arrives out of a clear blue sky and delivers to a level no-one foresaw. It was like that with George Best, called up to the Manchester United first team for a home match with West Bromwich Albion 61 years ago, and such a bag of nerves that Matt Busby listed him as 'reserve', to preserve him from stage fright, when scrawling out the team-sheet in ballpoint. The then 17-year-old was convinced that this selection, in the days before substitutes were used, must be some kind of punishment. He made his debut, of course - and so invincibly that Busby later wondered aloud whether what he observed had been a dream. A manager never really knows until the white line is crossed and the first whistle blown.

OLIVER HOLT IN IMOLA: There is nothing to suggest, from the outside, that there is anything different about Room 200 at Hotel Castello on the outskirts of the pretty little spa town of Castel San Pietro Terme, a few miles from Bologna. The bedroom door is as plain and unremarkable as every other door in the modest hotel. Its windows do not have a view to speak of, because there is nothing much to see out here on the edge of town. But inside, the suite of three rooms has been preserved - with the addition of a flat screen television - the way it was when Ayrton Senna, the man who many still believe to be the greatest racing driver ever, walked out of that door on the morning of May 1, 1994, and never returned.

RICHARD GIBSON: Andrew Flintoff has attempted to mute the noise around his two cricketing sons, but the actions of Rocky, 16, at Edgbaston last week screamed for attention.

NASSER HUSSAIN: We're used to seeing cricketers on the field, but what we don't get to see are the ups and down off the pitch - the X-rays, the operations, the rehab, the mental stresses.
