It was a cold day--my husband and I layered up and had a great time. We shared the tour with several travel photographers. The river is peaceful, majestic, and unique it flows north! We saw wildlife including a bald eagle flying overhead, a few deer running through the trees, a flock of Malard ducks and the handiwork of beavers. There were fallen trees that you had to protect your head from a few times, but that only showed the true natural beauty and the work the team has to do to share this wonderful river in every season. A unique experience I would recommend for couples, families or groups.

Took the winter raft trip and had a great time. Scenery was gorgeous. Our guide was Sean and he was fantastic!! Can't wait to come back and enjoy the river in the summer.

We had a beautiful early Spring day down the river with our guide Rafe.He was extremely knowledgeable and a great sense of humor.Scenery was mazing.Will definitely do again.

Always a fun adventure no matter if you tube or raft .. They say approx. 80% tipover rate for Kayaks on longer trips, 0% for Rafts) , We definitely flipped our raft going too fast around a bend (well worth it) . Best part is if you camp at Burt lake you can get straight off the river and and hobble over to your camp site .

3rd time doing a river trip at Big Bear Adventures and it never disappoints! Staff is super friendly, accommodating, and informative. Nice van ride over to the drop off spot. We did the 3hr trip with the sit-on kayaks, which were in great condition. Definitely a fun, challenging river with plenty of stops to take a break from paddling. None of us tipped over in our group of 4 but we consider ourselves experienced kayakers and found some parts of the river tricky at times. Afterwards we did the 18-hole putt putt course which was really fun and unique. Overall, a great and enjoyable experience at Big Bear Adventures! Can’t wait to go again!
