Max showed incredible patience with me and my multiple questions and concerns. He took the time to keep me informed at every step and made sure and identified any pitfalls that may come up during the process of finding a new home. It was extremely comforting knowing that I had someone with so much experience behind me while I was going thru the largest purchase of my life. I came back to Max a couple years later to refinance and was pleased again. Max was the same patient, informative, and trusted advisor he had been the first time around. Max is a throwback to what doing business is supposed to be. It is where honesty, integrity, and caring about your customers are always the way you do business, not the exception. Max has embraced these principles in his work. Max has a customer for life in me. You should be next!

We were first time home buyers so the communication they provided helped calm our nerves throughout the process. We originally were working with another lender and it was impossible to get accurate information in a timely manner. Max and his team put them to shame and made the buying process as easy as can be. I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy a home or looking to switch lenders.

I was buying a short sale home recently (first time homebuyer) and it was the absolute worst process ever. Whenever things could go wrong they did, but it was all on the seller’s side and dealing with the bank. We ran into an issue where our paperwork was going to expire and would’ve costed us weeks of starting over with the bank and a lot of money rescheduling stuff with stuff like pest control, renos, etc (took 2 weeks to get final approval from the bank, because they “lost” the final HUD twice…).

Max was able to get us multiple extensions on our paperwork which prevented us from being super screwed by the bank dragging their feet and feeding us BS. It was because of him that we saved a fat chunk of change by not having to start over. He was more than helpful in every disaster that kept popping up, very quick with communicating back, and determined to help us ensure damage control was somewhat effective :).

I highly recommend Max to anyone who needs a loan, because he handles business professionally.

Max Leaman Team is awesome. The end-to-end experience of working with them was very impressive.

Max and his team were fantastic to work with. Competitive rate and lowest fees by more than $400 right out of the gate. Closed on-time in 25 days even with delays on the seller’s side and the Christmas holidays. Easy application, great communication on the process with regular updates, always available for questions, no last-minute changes or charges.
I’m in the Dallas area and there were no issues at all with The Leaman team being located in Austin.
Highly recommend!

He personally emailed me the next day telling me he understood our dilemma perfectly and had a creative solution to get it done.

3 weeks later, we closed. I understand from our many friends that purchased a home ahead of us that to close in 3 weeks with no problems is difficult, much less navigating a difficult property.

Being newcomers to Austin from another state, we were working with a national mortgage company and the process was so cumbersome and difficult. Our agent suggested working with Max Leaman and I can honestly say that Max and his team really got the job done. Our loan was closed quickly and efficiently. Little issues that crept up were dealt with immediately and the process did not slow down. Being new to Texas, Max’s advice regarding real estate transactions in Texas was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. It really was a pleasure working with Max and he is someone I came to really trust. My agent was correct in saying what great service the Max Leaman team provided. They really get the job done.
