Welcome to Pegasus Horse Travel!
Established in 2009 we are based near Tavistock in West Devon, Pegasus Horse Travel are able to provide affordable horse transportation to all of the South West and most other parts of the U.K. Our aim is to offer a personal and caring service from yard to yard, ensuring your horse spends the minimal amount of time on the box.
The horse box is compact enough to reach the most inaccessible of places. But large enough to take large horses comfortably.
Fully insured horse transport
I am insured for public liability, care custody, and control. I am covered in the event of a breakdown, with PRP Rescue and DEFRA authorised for type 1 journeys (which is for journeys over 65km or 8 hours). I have a certificate of professional competence in the transport of horses, (NTPC qualified). I have had over 35 years of experience with horses. I am competent, calm, and patient and have worked with many different breeds from Warmbloods to Shetlands. I also have experience working on yards and with mares and foals too.
I have a passion for horses. No matter where you’re moving, or
transporting them in the UK, I’ll make sure they get there safely.
