At Arts for ACT Gallery opening on June 7th, 2024 Artist Mary Widmer Mary F Widmer – Cape Coral Artist – artworkbymary.com I consider myself an evolving artist. I have painted on feathers, fans, but my latest passion is watercolors. While I paint most subjects, I find painting animals and abstracts are my main focus. I have found in watercolor so much power from the flow of color. There is something magical about watching it take its own form. My husband and I moved to Florida in 1995. I love the sunshine and how the colors in the tropics are so dynamic. Over the years I have had my work exhibited at Florida Southwest State College (Edison College), Big Arts, Alliance for the Arts, Bonita Springs Art Center, Cape Coral Art Center, Harbour View, CoCo Gallery and Cape Coral Art League
