We are providers of bespoke courses designed to train the future makeup artist and/or industry professional into the industry. We deliver this through the Arts Award. The Blazing Sables Arts Award Program (BSAAP) trains future makeup artists, costume designers, wigs & hair specialists into the industry as a trainee. We achieve this by providing a much needed progression route for students aged 14 to 25. The BSAAP is available directly to schools & colleges, or run independently for students age 19 to 25.

At present we have 2 unique courses running at 2 levels, or at all 3 levels

1. Industry Based Total-Look Styling. This programme teaches all aspects of makeup, including hair and wardrobe, to produce a good all-round makeup artist
2. Industry Based Special FX Makeup. This programme includes learning makeup techniques including casualty, horror, theatrical and prosthetics

Recognised, National Qualifications in the Arts are awarded through the arts award Trinity College London who are the awarding body. Blazing Sables issue their own awards, certificates and diplomas.

Our arts award programs are unique to Blazing Sables and only available through us.
