    Working with a top end telemarketing agency to open some doors for their clients.

  • Ran for local election as an Independent candidate

    These opportunities only come about every 4-5 years and since I'd never tried it I gave it a good go achieving 198 votes... that's 198 people who believed in me enough to vote after reading my blog & flyer... did a lot of walking that month ;)

  • Deploying Eloqua by Oracle

    - Present

    Helping a global events company deploy Eloqua to smooth its event communications.

  • Crowd Funding 3D Printer for a local school

    The aim was to get parents and local supporters of Forest School to make a small contribution in return for a gift and successfully fund a 3D Printer. We achieved 140% of target by letters, emails to parents reinforced with awareness campaigns via local Yahoo & Facebook groups.

  • Exhibition Negotiations for European Company

    I helped E-Goi, a Portuguese email marketing company negotiate for their exhibition space on a couple of UK shows, giving them more budget with which to pay me for my services.

  • ONE Boat Project

    Raising awareness of the plight of the people of The Philippines after the tsunami, I managed to raise enough money for 10 boats for villagers to go fishing and feed their families... so much so that in 2015 they asked for fridges to keep they couldn't eat fresh ;)

    Maps4News were looking for a publisher in the UK to take their mapping service and after much digging around I opened up Archant for them, their first publisher in the UK.

  • Business in Berkshire LinkedIn Group needs YOU!

    I started an e-newsletter in Feb 2002 under the name Business in Berkshire and it reached a peak in 2008 with 5,000,000 page views to the CMS website we created for it. Today we have a blog, newsletter and a LinkedIn Group with nearly 3,333 members...

  • Raised £1000 for Juniper Fund - Kids in Nepal

    -

    Over a 2 month period, starting with the Thames Valley EXPO and ending with a Dragon Boat Challenge we raised £1000 for the Juniper Fund which pays for the children of sherpas who have sadly lost their lives on Everest to go to school. The alternative doesn't bare thinking about.

  • Crowd Funding RBWM Magna Carta 800th Anniversary Celebrations

    -

    I was successful in landing Heathrow as the headline sponsor and came up with the idea of a Magna Carta souvenir coin which was designed by a local chap and is being sold on the website. Larger medallions have been sent to the commonwealth countries with an invitation for their citizens to buy coins from the RBWM website. Do you have a project you need more people to know about?
