Computer scams could be costing UK schools 'millions of pounds'

Schools across the UK are being charged up to 10 times too much for laptops and other IT equipment through mis-sold lease agreements, a Radio 5 live investigation has found.

Glemsford Primary school in Suffolk is facing over £100,000 in bills for equipment it thought it was getting for free.

An accountant working on behalf of one of the banks that financed similar leases who is investigating why some schools have started defaulting on their payments, told Radio 5 live Investigates what had gone wrong.
