Olde Towne Tavern & Grill

I always see it and was curious but I will confess I was not a fan.
The place feels very outdated inside and the sitting area outside is small though nicer. There are tv's all over, including the bathrooms, showing sports and nothing more (don't really like it or dislike it honestly). The place does get full with an older crowd but drinks are not too pricy and food not super expensive though not appetizing. I ordered the chicken bites and they were just ok. Our waitresses were not rude in the least, very sweet girls, but absent so trying to get something was hard.
Maybe, I was just out of luck and it's usually better since the friend that took me raves about it but I don't think I would return on my own.

This place is such a great sports bar grill! Their garlic bread appetizer is sooo yummy & lots of garlic to it, deff a must try appetizer!
I got their big salad & added shrimp. The salad was huge & had so many veggies mixed in it, not just like 2 cucumbers like some places lol.
We had a couple tequila shots & they were huge, definitely more than a double shot haha, plus they were chilled perfectly with salt n lime!
The menu is pretty great I would deff say go try them sometime, especially in group setting or/and for games.

Service sucks so bad to the point where I have no idea how any of these fools can maintain a bar in the first place.
My friend and I literally sat there for almost 20-25 min without busy bar and no service,and the only way we got attention was when a Male was with us,real classy(I mean trashy that visits 2019,we can spot fakes a mile away),and I would personally know because I've ran bars for years. Its so bad to the point where the bartenders dont even deserve a tip. The atmosphere is musty and disgusting,and there were flies everywhere. My friend and i had one beer and that was all we could stomach due to the lack the maintenance at the bar, we'd rather not risk it. you're better off going to another local bar.

The last time we came here was for Sunday brunch. We were seated and told are server would be with us shortly. We watched another couple get seated in are section. They had a server come over took their order. They got their appetizers and began to eat. Their server walked past us several times and never said a word to us. We waited for about 20mins after that then left.

Good food. Good variety on the menu. Good TV coverage except a few booths. Slightly overpriced. On our last visit the hostess marginally interested. If you have 2 or 4 people you will be OK. More than that and they don't seem interested. The servers are pretty average. My sense is that management sets down rules for the employees and following those rules are more important than customers.
Good enough that we will go here once a year. Annoying enough to keep us from going more.

Great overall experience! Got seated right away and the food came out quickly! I got the 2 for $10 half club half shrimp bisque. I was debating whether or not to get the bisque so they brought me a sample that was SO GOOD I couldn't not get it.

My dad got the chicken plate and he said it was very delicious but a tiny bit dry.

My mom got the house salad with salmon and unfortunately they forgot to put the salmon on it when it came out, but they handled it perfectly! They brought out the salmon quickly and offered to take it off the bill (which we declined since it wasn't really a big deal).

Ok- this place really is not good. The service when you walk in the door is awful. I should have left when I wasn't greeted for 5
Minutes. We then sat at our table and did not get greeted for another 10 mins.

I worked in a restaurant for 7 years, so I wanted to give them a chance rather than just leave. But I regret staying.

The food is mediocre. Not special at all. Mostly bar food. I ordered pasta with chicken and the chicken tasted funky. My husband got a steak and it was tough and poor quality.

We were so upset with the time frame of this dinner that we didn't send the food back. However, I'm sure nothing would have been decent.

The server never payed attention to us. Our drinks were empty the entire meal. No fork for me. I opted for a spoon. Terrible establishment. Will not return.

Normally really hot and fresh. It seemed a bit empty, the food was luke warm. The server was great. I ordered the tavern dip. The meat wasn't that warm, the fries were hot, just an tad bit too salty. Maybe later in the evening the regular cook comes in.

This is one of the best restaurants in Lawrenceville. Not only is the food exceptional, (and a favorite of my family members when they are visiting from out of town), but the service is also a incredible. When you come in it's almost a reminder of the show "Cheers". ("Where everybody knows your name.") Robyn is by far the best bartender. She genuinely cares about her customers, is down to Earth, and will share many of laughs with anyone who has the pleasure of sitting at her bar. If you want to go to a place and feeling like you're visiting friends with the perks of also having a good meal, visit Olde Towne Tavern.

Decent food. I haven't had anything bad here and I have dined here a few times with friends before going to a movie next door. One of the best things about this restaurant is the atmosphere and how close it is to the AMC 18. They have a ton of TVs but they don't interfere with conversation or take away from the vibe.
