And curlews - what a lovely evening.

Something about this reminds me so much of Dylan Thomas' poem, "Fern Hill", although he doesn't mention bats, just owls and nightjars.

Thanks, Dan. Are those bats flitting around in front of the infra-red? Too big and active to be bugs.

Hi Helen, we're looking south-west. The bottom corner isn't grassed over as it has been shaded out by overhanging trees which have recently been pruned so hopefully that will start to recover.

Four lambs a-leaping. Easy to see who the young ones are.

That's a great view. Which direction am I looking? Does the bottom corner get mucky? Lovely view of the fells in the distance. Thank you.

This field is called the "bottom triangle" and you may notice the sheep in this field have been sheared! It is also highly likely we will take a hay crop from the field too as it is very thick.

The sheep are back!
