Anyone any idea if there's any truth in the ruell Walters rumours?

I'd love it to be true he's a beast that boy, very mobile too. Think he'll have plenty of offers though . Can only hope.

Good market to look at . Look at Sterling, bassey etc. Good finds to be had . Some of they youngsters no chance of first team football down there.

03 Jun 2024 16:54:14
John, who is Robertson again?

If we are looking players leaving city on a free, young right winger Micah Hamilton must be in with a shout, right winger (problem area for us) not played many senior games although did get a goal and an assist in the champions league for them.

Definitely a good market to look at. The best examples are Bassey on a free for us and Frimpong (£350k roughly), for C*ltic. There’s potential there.

See Rangers are signing hearts youngest Alfie Hutchinson, meant too be highly rated.

03 Jun 2024 17:08:18
Apparently a strong forward but ames Wilson is the player i'd really like us to sign from Herts.

Any news on diomande and also defenders coming into the club.

 0

03 Jun 2024 14:22:04
We have an obligation to buy dio for around 4.5million.

 1

03 Jun 2024 14:23:01
Diomande? Was a mandatory buy so don’t need to announce anything.

 0

03 Jun 2024 14:23:11
Diomande is a Rangers player mate.

 0

03 Jun 2024 14:26:37
Dessers shat do u mean info on diomande?

 0

03 Jun 2024 14:36:21
Thought it was an optional deal but if it was mandatory then it’s no bother then.

 2

03 Jun 2024 17:03:44
It was obligation to buy dessers.

 0

03 Jun 2024 17:10:10
His deal is an obligation to buy.

Does any of our members with inside knowledge have any details of the Cortes deal? I’m interested in the value but probably more on the sell on percentage we’ve agreed.

03 Jun 2024 13:42:30

i think it's 4 mill not sure about sell on though.

03 Jun 2024 15:28:34
Cheers AC… I get it’s a fine balance with what we can afford to pay up front and how much we need to protect from giving away large % of sell on, never too happy with giving away sell ons but when we’re strapped for cash, sometimes it’s essential to getting the players in.

Seeing reports Cordoba deal broke down due to Levski Sofia preferring a more cash up front payment plan than the add on package we had originally in place and Norwich could meet. Cordoba rumoured to have agreed on 7k a week deal at Carrow Rd.

03 Jun 2024 14:47:34
I have zero knowledge of this but I do not feel this is the case. The timing is just too convenient. WE agree an obligation to buy for Cortes leading some to think we have no cash just now and then the reason we don't sign Cordoba is needing to delay payments.
Might be true but just seems too convenient timing. I am more inclined to think it is the previous reasoning around changing goalposts!

02 Jun 2024 22:31:05
Apparently Lens want £4m for Cortes for permanent signing. We have offered a fee to loan him for additional year before committing.
Lens want obligation to buy inserted if they are to allow him to leave on initial loan basis.

Hopefully we can agree a compromise or resolution of some sort sooner rather than later, can see why Clement may be a bit wary to spend sizeable portion of budget after serious injury curtailed his promising start though.

Was stated a 6month extension with obligation to buy in January on here a few days ago, and led to believe in the media too, may be wrong.

Have to face it, we are looking for a LOT of players and the selling clubs know this, wouldn't be surprised if most possible fees are hiked to a premium.

 1

03 Jun 2024 09:32:20
We will sign freebies, who in turn will bleed us dry for the same reasons.

 0

03 Jun 2024 10:09:33
Apparently we have signed him on seaason long loan with an obligation to buy.

 2

03 Jun 2024 10:11:00
That's news from a couple days ago. Been posted on here a few times since then.

Delighted to see the Cortes deal rubber stamped. Loan with obligation to buy on 4yrs. I feel with Jefte and Diomande getting full summer of pre-season under their belts we are well on the way regarding the build. Appreciate there is a long way to go, but I believe getting foreign players particularly in early gives them a better chance to acclimatize for the season opener.

Makes sense. Boy showed he has something about him and doesn't effect our transfer budget this season. Win win!

Dc like Butland and Sterling?

 2

03 Jun 2024 13:03:45
Think some of our free transfers have done well. Butland, Sterling were both great last season. Lundstrum I'd say overall was a success. Aribo and bassey were massive sucesses earning us 25m. I think the bosmans are relatively low risk as you would be paying the wage out anyway.

CoplandFront5, have you heard anything regarding our kit deal with castore mate? 🤔 The reason i'm asking is because i've heard from a guy i sit near at Ibrox that he was told that we're very close and possibly about to announce that castore will remain our kit manufacturers for a further 3 years, after this current deal finishes in 2025. 🤔

He tells me he's hearing a figure of £18 million for the 3 year extension which kicks in after this coming season finishes. 🤔 Other manufacturers he says couldn't / wouldn't match what castore offered to remain with us 🤔.

 5

02 Jun 2024 19:21:08
Would represent an increase of £1m per season on the current 5 year deal. I’d be happy with this depending on the specific terms and bonuses for milestone sales.

 6

02 Jun 2024 19:24:08
Your figure is slightly low. There are bigger % on sales returns than last deal, over the upfront cost to Castore.

There are certainly at least two others in the market.

 4

02 Jun 2024 19:46:06
If I was a betting man I’d say we will remain with Cashley.

 2

02 Jun 2024 20:12:56
Yes Walter, not sure of exact figures but board are delighted with Castore. Castore are losing a couple of clubs this summer, wanting to make sure they don’t lose us also.

John227,i'm only passing on and sharing what i've heard mate why the doubt all the time 🤔When you post with your info i thank you and appreciate you and most certainly don't doubt you 🤔We all hear different things and we all share and that's what this site is about and a lot of it won't prove to be true but that's football and life for you.

02 Jun 2024 20:23:32
Ok John and i've no reason to doubt you mate 👍Who is the other 2 kit manufacturers along with castore, who are vying to be our kit manufacturers beyond 2025🤔I'll also ask you this, in your opinion do you think castore will remain our kit makers beyond 2025🤔I think they will.

 4

02 Jun 2024 20:24:15
Who’s the others.

 5

02 Jun 2024 20:26:19
Castores stuffs great. A few teething problems at the start but their new kits for next season look amazing. That's a fairly decent deal.

Totally agree NRD 👍 I would have absolutely no problem if we remained with castore, as like you say after ironing out a few teething problems at the beginning, when covid came on the scene 🙏 they have been really good for us and undoubtedly us for them 👌 The castore rangers merchandise is very good quality and i like mostly every design they've done for us 👌 This new away kit is stunningly beautiful imo and i really like our new home jersey for the new season 👌 Our club is very happy with what castore are producing and the full package they're supplying our club, so i have no doubt we'll remain with castore beyond 2025👍.

Good info sws keep it coming always appreciated mate.

 2

02 Jun 2024 21:07:22
Agree NRD stuff lately has been class.

 2

02 Jun 2024 22:06:48
We’ll still be with castore for many a years yet.

02 Jun 2024 22:06:59

Walter fgs where’s the doubt I’m telling u that u r close, I’m also saying what I’ve heard.

02 Jun 2024 23:14:22
We will go with highest offer, cashley does want to keep his claws in us. Walter, we r his toy.

02 Jun 2024 23:25:18
If they pay more we keep them simple, always liked adidas myself but like my team having a better chance of winning more.

 1

02 Jun 2024 23:30:33
Puma will certainly want to be our kit supplier again.
I was never convinced ditching then was a good idea
Nike, Adidas and Puma are the big 3 ( in that order)

 1

02 Jun 2024 23:32:45
Mad how everyone's opinions are different. I think the Castore stuff is absolutely pathetic and there's strips are boring.

 1

03 Jun 2024 06:33:36
John, who's the other 2 kit manufacturers as well as castore that are vying for our kit deal beyond 2025 mate 🤔.

 1

03 Jun 2024 08:39:45
Think it the best away top for years adam, quality is definitely there now.

 1

03 Jun 2024 09:38:27
Both kits so far this season are stunning, with the 4 last season excellent as well.

With the generic rubbish on offer from Nike and Adidas nowadays, I'd honestly stay with castore.

A bit expensive but the last 24 months they've knocked it out the park.

03 Jun 2024 11:03:36
Walter puma and new balanceb.

 1

03 Jun 2024 11:03:55
I did like the scottish flag bit on our top a while back.

 0

03 Jun 2024 11:04:43
I agree tops r getting better, the away top stunner.

 1

03 Jun 2024 12:43:32
Is it not the case that puma wasn’t actually our supplier anyway?
Did we not make our own strik at that point ( Mike Ashley)
And puma paid £1m a season to put there badge on our shirt?
That was my under of that time period anyway.

 0

03 Jun 2024 13:00:39
Adamchook, maybe that's because you don't like anything that's red, white and blue.

 2

03 Jun 2024 13:27:35
John27. I was always led to believe that Ashley was no longer associated with Rangers, So what % does he have in Rangers or does he have an interest in Castore.
🇦🇺🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿.

 0

03 Jun 2024 17:42:38
So John with the info you've been told it will be a fight between castore, new balance and puma to who becomes our kit manufacturers beyond 2025🤔.
