HOW CAN WE HELP YOU TODAY?
Hennepin Healthcare is working with the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) as they investigate three cases of measles identified in patients who were infectious while being seen at the hospital. The patients were present in the emergency department and inpatient pediatric unit overnight on May 21 starting at 11 p.m. until 6 a.m. the next morning. Unvaccinated people or those with unknown vaccination status who were in those areas during that time are at risk of getting measles and could develop symptoms (first symptom is usually a fever) within 7 to 21 days of exposure. Please go to the Minnesota Department of Health web page for more information.
