NEW Just over a decade ago, a well-educated Russian historian was captured by authorities before they stumbled upon a grisly collection of hand-made human dolls in his apartment. Once a respected figure in his field, horrific truths began surfacing in 2011 about Anatoly Moskvin, 57, that revealed he was digging up dead females and turning them into dolls. It was believed he had desecrated around 150 graves in total. Scattered among the mounds of clutter within the home of Moskvin, from Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, were 26 mummified bodies of girls and women aged between three and 29. The scholar-turned-bodysnatcher had dug up the dead girls and lived with their corpses in his house of horrors after turning them into ghoulish playthings wearing lipstick and knee-length boots. He had dug up the bodies of the girls before taking them back to his home, where he would turn them into showpieces that resembled antique dolls with red lips, blushed cheeks, and brightly coloured dresses. Chilling images of his sickening collection show bodies and skeletons in stockings and costumes, and one was even dressed to resemble a child's teddy bear.

ITV news bosses desperately tried to get its presenter Rageh Omaar to hand over his bulletin to a stand-in anchor after he became unwell live on air, The Mail on Sunday can reveal. News at Ten viewers were left concerned for the presenter after he began to struggle with his words during an item on weekend leisure time near the end of the programme on Friday. But Mr Omaar, 56, insisted that he continued and refused to hand over to a replacement host from the London regional news even though after the show he was taken straight to hospital. An ITV News source told The Mail on Sunday: 'The programme team were trying to replace him when they realised there was a problem.

Princess Charlene and Prince Albert of Monaco looked dapper as they stepped out to enjoy a day at the races. Jasmine Harman says it's still difficult to talk about her A Place in the Sun co-host Jonnie Irwin after he tragically lost his battle with cancer earlier this year. Television presenter Jonnie died aged 50 in early February after being diagnosed with cancer in 2020. Britain's Got Talent viewers have threatened to call Ofcom on Saturday after three acts from Japan auditioned for the show. Alec Baldwin looked worn out while on daddy duty in New York City on Saturday. The Oscar nominee was seen pushing two of his younger children in a stroller laden with toys and other items in Manhattan. But Baldwin, 66, looked as if he needed a breather when he was spotted pausing two lean against the railing of a set of stairs.

Hundreds of dapper cyclists took to the roads in their finest vintage wear and most stylish attire as the annual Tweed Run returned to London today. Organised by creative lifestyle company Bourne & Hollingsworth, the event, which started in 2009, draws large crowds around tourist hotspots each year. Riders adopt a vintage style for the day, with many riding antique bikes such as the penny farthing, some with wicker baskets attached to hold their snacks for the cycle.
