BETR is a UK accredited business support agency, with over 15 years experience in the delivery of business and enterprise support in the UK, and of recent West Africa.
Founded in 1993 BETR has delivered numerous social and economic regeneration projects in the United Kingdom funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) European Social Fund (ESF) Single Regeneration Budget (SRB) Learning and Skills Council (LSC) and a number of other funding organizations.

Businesses Assisted
Over 15 years we have assisted over 700 businesses to start up, and over 950 existing businesses to improve performance through our workshops, seminars and one-to-one advice sessions ranging from strategic management to export promotion.
Learning and Skills
We have also delivered many learning and skills training programmes and workshops with over 4000 participants. These programmes range from assisting the unemployed to working with high growth companies to increase turnover.

Enterprise Research
We have carried out research for the University of Liverpool into ‘Enterprise Support Initiatves for the Creative Industries on Merseyside’ and designed a music business module for Liverpool John Moores University, School of Media, Critical and Creative Arts. We continue to partner with the academic sector to explore opportunities to deliver better quality business support initiatives.
Creative Industries support
BETR is currently assisting new graduates from Universities in Liverpool into self-employment on the Enterprise Fellowship Programme. BETR works closely with creative arts development agencies in the UK as consultants and advisers to the industries of: broadcasting, multimedia, music, film, photography, design, publishing, performing arts, designer fashion, and advertising.
