Ontario woman Amanda Husk has just weeks to live after being denied a liver transplant by medics who cited her 'minimal abstinence' from alcohol as a reason to deny the transplant. Officials at University Health Network cited 'minimal abstinence from alcohol' outside hospital as a reason for the rejection. Husk's partner Nathan Allen said the situation was a 'wakeup call' and she had vowed to get help if she could get the transplant. He now plans to take her to Europe for the surgery if she survives that long.

Jaelynn Chaney, 27, recounted her experience with a wheelchair assistant at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. 'My ordeal at SeaTac Airport will shock you,' she said in a TikTok. Chaney then detailed how she requested wheelchair assistance on a recent flight - as she always does. However, Chaney claims that when she tried to deplane the aircraft, the employee assigned to help assist her started to walk away when she realized she was supposed to help the plus-size woman and not one of the smaller passengers.
