43rd UNC TEACCH Autism Program Conference
This year’s conference focuses on community collaborations that truly make an impact on the lives of autistic individuals across the world. Presenters will cover community collaborations to support autism diagnoses in rural communities and to support mental health interventions through collaborations with early intervention providers, educators, and autistic adults. TEACCH Five-Day Classroom Training – Summer Sessions
TEACCH’s Five-Day Classroom Training provides a theoretical foundation as well as hands-on opportunities to assess and teach individuals on the autism spectrum in a demonstration classroom setting. Registration for Summer 2024 is now open.

BFAST – New resource website designed for Black families
BFAST is a new website designed for Black families, created in partnership with members of the Black Community, to help parents of autistic children access resources across NC. The website includes families sharing their stories through videos and interactive tools, with a focus on what to expect along the journey, how to build a team, and ways to feel empowered.
