Honestly it might be theme park food but you honestly get some pretty darn good food and some beautiful atmosphere for the price in my opinion. Located in the Mexico Pavilion at Epcot this restaurant is very small so if you are not a fan of being close to people you are not together with, it may be something you want to stay clear from.

This is an absolutely beautiful and well themed restaurant making it feel like you are truly eating under the sky and one of my favorite things is you get to see the boats for the Mexican ride go by while you enjoy your food. I will say that their prices are very expensive and for something you could go to any local Mexican restaurant for, you are definitely paying double. But again you were paying for the atmosphere and the fact that you were at a Disney theme park.

I got the chicken enchilada and let me say that this thing was very filling however coming in and the price of $30 you would definitely think you would get a little more bang for your buck. The chicken was very tender and the peppers that they placed in there had a wonderful crunch to them. Everything was cooked and marinated to perfection! The seasoning they used you could taste a little bit of heat but it wasn't anything that was overpowering and kept me coming back for more and more bites until the entire plate was empty!

The staff here is very friendly and when I was unsure about a couple different choices of food, the waitress told me what her favorite thing was and I decided to get that! They were very attentive and my water glass never went below half of a cup and I drink a lot because it was so hot! A great place to try however if you are pressed for time while you're at the theme parks I do not recommend coming here because it took a nice amount of time to get our food and pay for it.

Stopped in for drinks and appetizers. The queso fundido was just like in Mexico warm and gooey and was paired with warm tortillas (not chips) we had the margarita flight in an effort to try all three and they were all delicious!

Loved the location and the vibes.

This place was packed so I was expecting some good food and I got it! However the size of the meal did not correlate to the cost. My wife and I split tacos. For $35 I was expecting to leave there STUFFED or have extra food... nope. We comfortably finished our meal. It came with 4 little street taco shells, and a 5" pan of taco meat (cheese, vegetables, steak). The meal came with a side of what I thought were potato wedges, nope... they were plantains! Not that I care, I just wanted to know but it could have been my lack of reading.

The dining experience was great. Our waiter was super cool and helpful during our meal. The food was good but expensive. I would come back here but you are really paying that Disney tax!

Reserved a table for 3 for lunch on a Monday and were seated within 10 minutes. Prime views of the pyramid. The food wasn't great, but wasn't bad either. Queso dip is a must. It was a little dark in there, but I get it's supposed to be like you're in the heart of Mexico at night. The waiters had cool pens that lit up what you were writing.

Came here for dinner last night. I got the chicken tacos and the guacamole for the table. I didn't realize we got queso and salsa as well. Our server, Jose, was extremely nice and helped us with anyone we wanted. He was so kind and worked so hard to make sure we felt welcomed and was a great host!! Super personable. This was a great restaurant too, I'd dint realize how big it was inside! The chicken tacos were super yummy and I loved the plantains. Could've been split between two people. Loved this pick!

I was fortunate enough to visit the original restaurant in Mexico City a few weeks ago on a quick weekend visit. I have to say the EPCOT version didn't disappoint either. I had the Osso Buco which was very tender. The mole sauce that topped it was excellent. Rice was perfectly cooked and their chips, salsa and Queso were perfection.

While this isn't a criticism the one thing I did notice was a tray full of drinks and old food hanging out in front of the table they put us at (it was moved and never picked up for the hour we spent there). Other than that, place was great.

This is a dark restaurant in Mexico/Epcot. We could not read the menu without using a flashlight. I used the Disney app to see the menu online, but I think that the printed menu had other items that I missed. Israel was our wait staff, and he was good. We did have to ask another person to find him to refill our water glasses. The food was a little spicy and we drank 2 glasses of water each.

Husband sat with his back to the volcano. I had a great view. Yes, he saw me, and he always enjoys seeing me, but since we were inside the Mexico Pavillion, it would have been nice if we'd had a table so that he could see the volcano, too.

The food was excellent! I had the Sopa Azteca as an entree, and Husband had the chicken enchiladas. He gave me his plantains. They were the best! I e never tasted plantains this good

As annual pass-holders we received a 10% discount which was half the tip we left. The food was pricey, but it WAS incredible.

Tortilla soup & Husband gave me his amazing, delicious plantains!

The way my family "did" disney growing up was to get free tickets from a timeshare pitch and bring cold cut sandwiches in a bag to avoid paying for food at the park so this was my first real Disney restaurant experience and needless to say I was skeptical.

Naturally it was a bit overpriced (eg $15 guac) but I actually thought it was pretty good and if it didn't have the Disney name attached to it I wouldn't have felt any more ripped off than I would have at your standard upscale Mexican city place.

We had some apps to start and I ordered the Caesar salad with shrimp as my main. I opted for a drink that the server recommended - it ended up being a pretty basic margarita but a very good one and they did NOT skimp on the booze. My Caesar salad was also basic but good and the shrimp were cooked and seasoned well.

Service was quick but not brusque. The atmosphere was the real highlight; it's absolutely gorgeous inside and it's buzzy without being loud or clubby.

Honestly? I'm kinda sold. Would def go back.

If it wasn't for their excessive pricing, I'd give this place 5 stars. Their queso fundido was very good. Their ribeye and fish tacos were amazing.

Their drinks weren't that great, but if you're looking for a great Mexican meal, this is your place.

With the pyramids and volcanos in the bs ground, you get a great authentic feel. The staff is all Mexican, so if it's easy to forget you're in a Disney park.
