What is Tae Kwon Do?

Tae kwon do is a Korean martial art meaning the way of the hand and foot. It improves fitness, flexibility and discipline, is the national sport of South Korean and has been an Olympic event since 2000. It is the most widely practiced martial art in the world and has such well known practitioners as Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Chuck Norris (Walker, Texas Ranger) and even Elvis Presley.

Who are we?

The club teaches general fitness, powerful kicking and striking techniques, patterns for gradings and competitions as well as effective self defence techniques. The club has competed in national competitions and has scored several medals and distinctions.
