Updated:
The period is likely to start off on a fairly unsettled note, with cloud, areas of rain and showers, but predominantly focussed in the west, whilst eastern areas remains somewhat drier. Showers are likely to spread to all areas towards the back end of next week, with a gradual drying trend from the west or southwest over the weekend (if not before). There are no particularly strong signals for the following week, which is fairly typical at this range at this time of year, with the chances of unsettled vs settled weather types being roughly equal. Temperatures are expected to be around to a little above average throughout, despite potentially starting off on the cool side.
Updated:
Current indications are that the chances of settled and unsettled weather are fairly balanced for this period. As a result, there is a quite similar likelihood of either dry or wet conditions being the more prominent feature of the weather. Despite this, temperatures have more chance of being above the average expected at this time of year.
