The routines accommodate all ages and ability levels, teachers have the advantage of conducting the tuition and competitors have the advantage of training at their desired speed and level.

Are you aged 18-30, a qualified Highland teacher and interested in taking Highland to a whole new audience?
Thanks to the Assemble & Leap Creative Scotland funding, we are piloting a new programme taking taster workshops to Primary Schools across Scotland
Phase 1 will take in Aberdeenshire, Fife and West Dunbartonshire.
This will be held at the Winter Gardens Blackpool during our annual conference.
The competition will be held to find one 16 bar original dance in each of the Classical Sequence, Modern Sequence and Latin Sequence sections.
This year we have a new and exciting experimental rule where a qualified professional can dance with a non-qualified dancer over the age of 16.

We are pleased to announce “Baby Ted” certificates and stickers. Designed for the very young who are not ready for a formal test. This includes a certificate and 4 stickers which can be added at intervals either for attainment or attendance. The teacher will complete them. A pack of 20 A5 certificates and 80 stickers is included.
