More than 3,000 classic, custom and muscle cars and trucks from 1978 and older will command attention across the acres at the 23rd Annual Lingenfelter Performance Engineering Blue Suede Cruise presented by Cometic Gasket, July 26-28, 2024 at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio!
Awards will be given out to owners of the cars and trucks that make this must-attend event one of the largest of its kind in the country, and when fans are not busy checking them out in the sizable show fields, they can sit trackside for some quarter-mile fun-runs, thrilling Nostalgia Top Fuel and Nostalgia Drag Racing League action, or experience adrenaline-inducing Autocross!
The ScottRod's AA/Gassers will be part of the action, too!
Geeze Cats will perform a mix of outstanding oldies music and a Bader Family Signature Fireworks Show will fly over America’s Racetrack!

PRIZED AND PRAISEWORTHY CLASSIC CARS AND TRUCKS
This annual event is famous for having a high caliber of classic cars and trucks that capture attention throughout the show field. While some appear as they did when they rolled out of the showroom years ago, and others are custom, all are full of character.

Awards will be given out in appreciation for the beautiful street rods that make the Lingenfelter Performance Engineering Blue Suede Cruise presented by Cometic Gasket one of the largest independent events of its kind in the country!
FUN-RUNS DOWN THE FAMOUS QUARTER-MILE
Participants will be able to make non-competitive passes down the same track surface that has also seen 300-plus mph vehicles jet trucks, jet dragsters, a record-setting Monster Truck and others!
TAKE IN NOSTALGIA TOP FUEL
Experience the sights, sounds and sensations of nostalgia-inducing Top Fuel dragsters! Twelve racers will give it everything they have as they shake, shimmy and soar down track during qualifying and eliminations!
NOSTALGIA DRAG RACING LEAGUE COMPETITION
The Nostalgia Drag Racing League has a faithful following, and for good reason. The cars take us back in time, and the competition takes us on a thrill ride!
ALL-OUT AUTOCROSS ACTION
When fans are not checking out all of the amazing cars in the car show field, they can see adrenaline-filled autocross action! Racers in cars from 1978 and older will be taking part and taking corners!
SCOTTRODS'S AA/GASSERS
Whether they are at idle or aiming for the sky, ScottRod's AA/Gassers will hold court in the pit area and on track!
SWAP-MEET, CAR CORRAL AND WOMEN'S WORLD
Fans will find all sorts of items in the sizable swap-meet, and they might even climb into a new-to-them car in the car corral. Women's World will offer apparel, jewelry, candles, services and much more!
CONCERT BY THE GEEZE CATS FOLLOWED BY BADER FAMILY SIGNATURE FIREWORKS
After a concert of 1950s and 1960s music by the Geeze Cats on Saturday night, Bader Family Signature Fireworks will fly! Summit Motorsports Park president Bill Bader Jr. has more than doubled the budget for the fireworks to make the show even bigger!

Named Track of the Year 22 times by the NHRA, IHRA and NMCA, Summit Motorsports Park works hard to welcome racers and race fans to a well-kept facility at each and every event.
The grounds are clean, the parking lots are well-lit and paved and grass pit areas are offered.
Permanent bathrooms are maintained at all times during events, and some have showers. Portable bathrooms also are available.
Throughout clean, comfortable and convenient dining areas, guests will find breakfast, lunch and dinner selections, including burgers, sandwiches, pizza and stromboli, as well as fries, nachos and hot pretzels, among other favorites. Various beverages are available, including water, pop, coffee, Budweiser beer and more.
Wild Bill's Ice Cream Saloon, where a pint of Velvet Ice Cream costs $3, is a popular place to stop in the dining area. Ice cream is available in Mint Chocolate Chip, Buckeye Classic, Butter Pecan & Cashew, Cookies ‘N Cream, Dutch Chocolate, Moose Tracks and Original Vanilla.
The Quarter Mile Clothing Company is stocked with apparel, souvenirs, novelty items and much more.
Fuel pumps, firewood, golf cart rentals from Dornan's Sales and Service, car parts and water hauling are available at most events.
Guest Service locations are prominently placed in the park.
