Ann Kelly
Painter in Oils

Born in Cheshire, Ann studied at The Laird School of Art, and The Liverpool Regional College of Art and Design.
Although initially working in graphic design, she quickly reverted to Fine Art. Ann Has taught both adults and children, in painting, print making, ceramics and sculpture, but now concentrates on her own work. Ann's work is influenced by light and shade and shapes in the landscape and tries to capture some mood or emotion with the use of pattern and colour, while also trying to capture the feeling of solitude and open spaces in her work, painting all over the U.K. and in France and America. She is represented by several galleries in England.
Ann has had some solo exhibitions, and many joint exhibitions,e.g. Birmingham, Bristol Affordable Art Fair, London Olympia, Guest Artist with Dobunni Group, The Thin Dog Gallery Cirencester, Red Rag Gallery Stow- on- the -Wold, D'Arcy Gallery Cheltenham, Polkadot Gallery Exeter, Whistler's Gallery Lechlade, Compton Cassey Gallery, Priory Gallery Broadway, The Great Atlantic Gallery Falmouth, The Silk Top Hat Gallery Ludlow and Windsor Contemporary Art Fair, and The Royal West of England Academy. Ann has work in private collections in the U.K., France, U.S.A., Australia, Holland and Japan.
