Established in 2004, we are a small, familly run, friendly flying school and aero club. We welcome everybody who drops in.
Our purpose is to open up the world for people who desire to see it from above.
Take to the skies
People of all ages can enjoy a fantastic they will never forget with us. A Flight Experience or 'Trial Lesson' is actually an exercise of the training course for a UK PPL, so the time you spend in air can be logged if you wish to take it further. Many professional pilots started this way.
My thanks to all at Carlisle Flight Training for an excellent day, especially when I discovered my daughter Kate could fly with me. I was very lucky to pick a day with good weather which made my flight most enjoyable. A special thank you to my instructor, who immediately put me at ease with words I wont forget, "I've got the pedals and throttle, the rest is up to you", that made my day! Thank god he didn't repeat these words for landing as the wind had increased a bit. I have a feeling that I will be back in the not too distant future! Fantastic, again, many thanks.
