Welcome to Country Ways. A peaceful, converted farm surrounded by more than 40 acres of private grounds, with spectacular views of the North Devon countryside.
Our cottages
Set within our stunning mature gardens, with glorious views across the North Devon countryside, our six self-catering cottages are perfect for short breaks and longer stays. Tastefully converted from old stone milking barns and stabling, our cottages are comfortable, well-equipped and have their own unique character. All our cottages have well equipped modern kitchens, comfortable beds with soft, fresh linen and towels. With six cottages to choose from, we can accommodate single guests, families and groups. One of our cottages is fully accessible, with a ramp and accessible wet room with shower. We also welcome Paw Guests in four of our six cottages. All interior areas are non-smoking.
Perfect days
The quiet beauty of the surrounding countryside is the perfect backdrop for a wonderfully memorable celebration. Included in the cost of a Country Ways wedding or events are all six cottages, use of the grounds and our licensed Corn Barn (including kitchen and toilet facilities, tables, chairs and our paying bar.) We have lots of decorations that can be hired to enhance your special day. Along with fire pits, barbecues, gazebos and traditional garden games. The venue is completely private and exclusive. So you can be assured that there will be no passersby interrupting your special day, which means you can enjoy it with just your nearest and dearest.
Retreats and workshops
The venue is available for retreats during our off-peak season (between October and the end of March/April) and occasional weekends during our peak season (April - September).
Corporate events and conferences
We can host seminars, conferences, team-building, private meetings and corporate events. Whether it’s a meeting for a few or a conference for 70, our versatile space is ideal to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
